Would you pay more taxes if it meant receiving a pension when you retire?

Right, onto the next late poll: "What would you do on a day off from work/school?"

Ehh, probably be a lazy blighter. Sleep in, play some games. Just generally chill, I guess.

Hmm, went with sleep excessively, relax and watch TV, cause that's what I'll probably do next Monday. Though video games and crazy posting could feature as well on other days off.

I haven't properly watched TV in years, I suppose because I can usually always find something better to watch on the internet than what's currently on the telly.
I would have picked relax, but relaxing for me is just sleeping excessively :D

Hmm, I think "Watch TV" is probably more synonymous with services like Netflix or Amazon Prime these days. I'm guessing they fall under the same purview in regards to this poll.

I suppose so, but I don't find myself watching much of that either come to think of it. If I'm watching a TV show online it'll probably be something from my childhood.
Then again Blackadder's on Netflix so I might renew my subscription

Am I really the only TV watcher here?

My 2012 self would be disgusted. :tssk:

Well, in fairness, I do follow shows, like I mentioned in the Live Action Shows thread. It's just that those are on at specific times, I don't tend to watch TV casually much at present.

Ah, this is where our differing educational systems might cause some issues. Since some countries will have more artisan subjects (such as Food Tech, Design and Technology or Textiles) in addition to your traditional languages, maths and sciences. Then you have vocational subjects, like Engineering, Health Care or Business.

Bit late for me to make such a suggestion, since we're two polls in already. Perhaps before changing polls, you should take a screenshot and archive the results. We could try redoing polls every so often to see how things have changed.

Went with Mathematics and Science, since those were the ones I really cared about. But I also put down Foreign Languages, since I enjoyed French classes quite a lot too.

That is what happens when you go under a list of main American classes. :oops2:

Sure, I can definitely do that. A chance to also add more options the next go around.

Sure, why not? Although in my experience it's always been a subdivision of PE.

Hmm, as keen as you are with these polls, I think a day is too small a window for them to run and for discussions to form. I'd say give them at least half a week or so.

Also, for archiving, perhaps have a record of each poll taken on the front page, a bit like how we have scoreboards on TTQ. And have each poll link to a screenshot of the poll results.

Never really thought about this one, although my current car is white, which I'm quite uncomfortable with!
I went with red, green and blue, because my father has had cars those colours, which I really liked.
