Re: The General Horror Thread
The scariest horror movie for me is John Carpenter's The Thing.

Re: The General Horror Thread
I could do with actually watching/reading more horror but I don't know where to start and will get bored of watching Jack Frost 2 every Christmas eventually.

Re: The General Horror Thread
Some horror I have actually watched include the original 1979 Amityville Horror, the Japanese version of the Ring and The Birds but I don't think I could take these films so seriously now.

Re: The General Horror Thread
Just watched Heidi (2014). Entertaining, but it clearly failed to use its potential, to the point it felt rather boring at times.
Re: The General Horror Thread
I watched two of "The Ring" movies. It was not really generally scary.
In my opinion, it is more of a "really-messed-up-mind-twisting-playing-with-your-head-you're scarred for life" kind of scary.
I am just saying it because I had a dream about that movie once.

Did you watch the original Japanese movies or the remakes?
Re: The General Horror Thread
The remakes. The Japanese movies were not available on Netflix.Hunchman801 wrote:Did you watch the original Japanese movies or the remakes?
I still liked them though.

Re: The General Horror Thread
I thought the first one was pretty rad, though the following ones kinda failed to innovate.
Re: The General Horror Thread
Anyone else have seen "Saw 2"?
Wasn't really scary for me, it's just that I felt sick on some parts.
It involved a lot of body part removals.

To be fair, we all probably were annoying when we were younger.Darkykitty2 wrote:ha I'm nothing nowadays you should of seen me when I was younger I was the single most annoying thing on the boardsLysol wrote:Likely because you're one yourself.Darkykitty2 wrote:im a fan of spooky thing horror movies
Re: The General Horror Thread
That is absolutely false. I have always been the suave and ponderate fellow I am today.
Then again, due to a lab experiment conducted on my mother in a maternity built above an aztec graveyard, I am born at the age of 25.

Re: The General Horror Thread
Recently watched more of the Friday The 13th slasher franchise.
The first movie was first and only one I've seen Thanks to the limitations of Netflix. I watched the other movies in the franchise elsewhere in some other online movie website called "Putlocker"() But stopped the use of it eventually and Almost watched everything.
Few of the movies are really Good(and possibly better.)

Re: The General Horror Thread
I've checked up on some indie project for a "Look See" and I'm unimpressed. It's just a Slenderman clone, with a different set of rules. Why do people fawn over this junk?
Re: The General Horror Thread
What if the spooky clown from the new movie went "He's gonna take you back to the past, to play the shitty games that suck ass"?
