Re: TTQ: Season 109 - Round 1
I will accept Team 2's answer, since it does look like Rayman is sleeping while eating at the same time. Tied up!
Team 1 - 3 points
Team 2 - 3 points
Team 1: Rayman speaks in which versions of Rayman 1?
Team 2: List five enemies that appear in both Rayman 1 and Rayman Origins.

Re: TTQ: Season 109 - Round 1
Hm, that's got to be all versions where the intro is the pre-rendered cutscene since he says "No Problem". So... PS1, PC (at least most versions, although he talks in the game in all), Saturn (?), iOS/Android, DSi (he talks in the game like in the PC version). No clue about the Pocket PC version etc.

Antitoons/Darktoons
Lividstones
Hunters
Stone Men
Those are the ones I'm firm on, I want to say the Spiky Fish, but I'm not sure if that counts or if they just look similar.

Nah, the spiky fish I am not to sure with. I don't remember the spiky balls having mouths.

Re: TTQ: Season 109 - Round 1
Not submitting, request for clarification. When you say enemies that appear in both games, do they have to be enemies in both? Or could they have been friendly in one and enemies in the other?Ray502 wrote:Team 2: List five enemies that appear in both Rayman 1 and Rayman Origins.[/size]
If that is the case, then we could add the Magician to the list, since he appears in Rayman 1, but he's an enemy in Origins.

I'll go ahead and say that Rayman speaks in the PS1, PC, Saturn, iOS/Android and DSi versions.Ray502 wrote:Team 1: Rayman speaks in which versions of Rayman 1?

Re: TTQ: Season 109 - Round 1
Hmm, I don't think it's the Spiky Ball, but perhaps it could be some other static enemy. Thinking about it, we know that the level specific enemies in R1 and RO tend to come from similar levels (Lividstone - Jungles, Stone Men - Mountains). The only other level tropes that are shared by RO is Candy Chateau - Food Themed, and Band Land - Instrument themed. I'm pretty sure it's not an enemy from the Desert of Didgeridoos, as I don't recall there being any R1 like enemies in that level, mobile or static.
That leaves the food themed levels. I don't think it's one of the mobile enemies, they were small fish, dragons, fruits and spices. Not so sure on the static objects though.
EDIT: Ok, so I've given a bit more thought, and I can remember there being forks in the Gourmand Land, and I recall seeing artwork of forks in the Rayman 1 style. They don't look the same, from what I remember, but given that they are the same thing, I think I'll risk it, it's either this or the Spiky Fish.
What do you guys think, Dutch and Aaron? Is it worth a shot?

Team 1's answer is incomplete. Team 2 however is correct and takes the lead!
Team 2 - 4 points
Team 1 - 3 points
Team 1: Pair these objects together based on how they function.
Team 2: List all of the Hoodlums in Rayman 3, from weakest to strongest.

Hoodboom
Grim keeper
Stumbleboom
Hoodmonger officer
Spinneroo
Hoodoo
Lavomatrix
Heckler
Hoodstomper
This list may need some adjustments though.

Re: TTQ: Season 109 - Round 1
I've gone and sorted your list with what I can recall.
I think the Grim Keeper only took two hits, but I'm not 100% on it. Hoodstomper takes three shock rockets, which I think equate to 6x hits, but again, not entirely sure. Can't remember if the Hoodboom took 4 hits or 6, Stumbleboom would take an extra one though, since they're on stilts. I believe fully charged HMF are x6 of a regular hit, but again, not completely sure on that.CHRdutch wrote:I'd sort them like:

Unsures:
Hoodboom
Grim keeper
Stumbleboom
Lavomatrix
Heckler
Hoodstomper

Re: TTQ: Season 109 - Round 1
Grim keeper takes 4 hits I think. A shock rocket is an instant kill to normal enemies and a hoodboom takes 6 hits IIRC.Master wrote:I think the Grim Keeper only took two hits, but I'm not 100% on it. I don't really know how much damage a fully charged HMF does, I think 4?
So:
One hit:
Grim
Slapdash
Three hits:
Hoodmonger
Hoodmonger Soldier
Four hits:
Hoodoo
Spinneroo
Grim keeper
Six hits:
Hoodstormer
Hoodmonger officer
Hoodboom
Stumbleboom
Unsures:
Lavomatrix
Heckler
Hoodstomper

Re: TTQ: Season 109 - Round 1
Don't think I can argue with those. That leaves us with the minibosses and one boss. I think that's how I'd order them, as I feel Hecklers are more resilient than Lavomatrix, given how their health bar is for two of them. As for Hoodstomper, it's a complete guess, but given that he is a fully fledged boss, I think it's worth a try having him there.
We're almost out of time, so I'll give 15 minutes for any final debate. If not, then I'll submit with haste.
