I left one of the 3 Yellow Gems below the Cage for the end of the Combo (i.e. the classical approach where you hit the second Elite Monger once, then collect the Gem and kill the Hoodlum afterwards). Obviously, that left me with one less item in the beginning so I was unable to get 2 Red Gems for max value. Your version of the ending is cool, but I'm used to the classical way and old habits die hard, as they say. I was way too scared to mess up the end, so I decided to go down that route.1234 wrote: As for your HH-score, how did it actually come that you got 140 points less than the maximum I calculated, if I may ask?
I assume you didn't convert the Lum from the Hoodboom and you maybe accidently took a red gem from the first piggybank too early, did you?
And yeah, I also left out the Black Lum from the Hoodboom; it's almost impossible to get a good angle for an SJ right away, so I needed to make sure I had some time to make adjustments and even then, the timeframe for connecting the Tribelle's area with the Hoodboom was pretty tight. I mean, you can decide yourself on how to play this part, but I found including the Black Lum from the Hoodboom to not be worth the immense increase in difficulty...
Nothing for the next 2 weeks as I'm occupied with studying1234 wrote: What level do you intend to improve next? Looking at your scores, only TOTL appears to be quite improveable yet, and maybe also LS and SBTC a bit. However in the other levels it should be exceedingly difficult to do any better.
I'm currently in LS3 with a predicted final Score of 43.050. Maybe I'll even play LS again afterwards to squeeze out some extra Points; after the hellish crap I had to go through in CF and HH, the Shoe-Combo is actually kind of relaxing. After that, maybe 122.619 in LOTLD because that level is easy with the exception of the final Combo. Then I will probably give DOTK or FC another go, and only THEN will I bother with TOTL. As long as I can't really trigger the IPG, I don't see the Point in trying, so might as well go for other stuff first.
Good luck!1234 wrote: It won't be easy to beat it, but I think I'll still give it a shot after the exams. We'll see.
