Not sure if my suggestion is valid, so I'll just quote it below:

EDIT: I don't know what current poll suggestions are, but I'll throw another one in the ring. Here's something that seems to be a bit of a hot topic: https://www.campaignlive.co.uk/arti...stands-anti-obesity-campaign-backlash/1458472

Of course, we can leave this in the buffer for now if there's another poll topic ready, but given the outcry regarding this, I'm curious as to what folks think about it.

So the music tempo one?

Edit: The one Master is referring to is also interesting. Would like to see what people think of that one also. Even if it's not the next poll it should be a poll after the others.

Well let's just go in order of the polls suggested.
I prefer that. Actually I'll just list them all in the first post so I don't get confused!
Sorry Ray, but this is fairer, really.

So, music tempo it is!

Lol aight.

Urh, I picked slow-tempo, since I have a tendency to write songs at a slower tempo than you'd normally associate with a given genre. Even if the song is dark and heavy, I enjoy the space for explosions of colour between each beat.

It's not really a preference, though, just an automatic tendency.

I went with up tempo. I feel like mid is what most people would pick and I was going to but only went with up tempo as I find most of them catchy. Then again I'm probably thinking of rhythm not tempo. Meh.

I went with up tempo too, I've always loved music with fast drum beats and so on but the most prolific genre with fast drum breaks is drum and bass, which I generally don't enjoy due to the trancy/electro accompaniment. Another example is jungle music, where I really love the inhumanly fast drum breaks but I don't care for the trancy reggae elements. Most of the music with this feature that I do like are videogame soundtracks like Ratchet and Clank and Dynasty Warriors.

Damn, answering this question is far tougher than I expected. I love slow songs, I love mid-tempo songs, I really like fast songs too, all for obviously very different reasons. The slow songs I enjoy feel very heavy and epic, the fast songs I enjoy are mostly for the adrenaline they create in me. However, the last twelve songs I've written are all mid-tempo-ish, and that's unintentional. I think mid-tempo is what feels most natural to me, kind of? Stable, yet super flexible. Mid-tempo it is, then.

I was expecting more people here to pick up-tempo (aka autism). I'm impressed so far, and I guess I'm also special.

I like a variety of slow, mid and up tempo songs. I didn't pick slow-tempo because sometimes I'm not in the mood for that kind of songs, and I didn't pick up-tempo for the same reason. I'm always down for mid-tempo songs, so that's what I picked. Just today I listened to mid-tempo more than the other two. :)

I actually found it confusing too. I like a variety of the 3 also but I think I'll leave my vote at up tempo as I feel it's the type of music to get you motivated to do something. I listen to punk a lot (Green Day, Bowling For Soup, Blink 182 etc.) and the majority of these are kind of up tempo though Green Day even have a lot of slow and mid songs also that I like too. I like all sorts of other Rock and the old school rap too  Think I'll just stick to up tempo for the motivation to get moving :)

Edit: love 80s music too even though it's before my time :D

Right, moving swiftly along!

About the next poll after this, how's the wording suggested in the first post?
And the poll after that, I've another idea, also in the first post.

I was torn between very much and somewhat. I like keeping up with my personal hygiene, my hair groomed and trimmed, and smelling good when I'm going out. Although it's not to the point where I obsess over it. I went ahead and picked very much, though I'm more of an in between with that and somewhat.

I went with somewhat. While I always make sure I'm clean shaven and my hair isn't too long, I don't exactly have the best clothes to wear all the time. I care enough that I shower obviously and make sure I'm not going out with an odour or anything. I wasn't sure whether to go with somewhat or very much and was in between so I went with somewhat.

I wasn't exactly sure how to interpret this question so I took it to mean "how much you care about impressing others with your looks", to which I went with "Not at all". I only ever wear things that I enjoy wearing for my own sake, rather than wearing clothes I think other people will like. It's one of the reasons I absolutely detest wearing a suit, or anything traditionally smart.
I guess in that respect if the question is just about how much you care about your appearance full stop, then I admit I am particular over my choice of clothes, but that seems like a bit of a silly question to me (everyone has clothes they don't like).
Other than my choice of clothes I never do anything with my hair and just let it grow on its own, and I've never been bothered about spots.

I honestly couldn't care less either what people think of how I look. Only reason I went with somewhat is because just for myself I like to keep clean shaven and shower although showering isn't actually physical appearance now that I think of it. I just don't like how having a beard feels hence the need for me to shave every 2 days. I also don't like to wear jeans or suits as they're uncomfortable and I like to just wear tracksuit bottoms and a t-shirt since I find them most comfortable to wear :D
