@ Steo: I haven't played the game for years! I still admire it as a game but from a scoring perspective I'd say certain glitches/discoveries have poisoned it, but then I'm a sucker for tradition and playing the game the same way I did in its hay day. It's never too late to start though! I'm sure M&M would give you some help in playing the game in the traditional, fun way if you were interested!
Any questions on this board?

No, there's a clear difference between you guys and Goldfist (Xenesus), from what I've seen. I'm not sure why that guy keeps getting mentioned though

Re: Any questions on this board?
Well, Xenesus came up during a recent posting spree when it was pointed out that he never explained the rules of the You Game in the first post. I figured you'd be the best guy to explain what he was like.
Re: Any questions on this board?
Nah none of your posts were spamming and any threads you bumped you had info. You weren't just saying bump and that's itThe Jonster wrote:You and me both. Tbh I was unconcerned whether I was annoying anyone since you've told me there are others besides you who were like that, always posting constantly (i.e. Harpic, Beebop, Xenesus, etc.), cuz I never believed I was spouting nonsense in most of the more serious threads. And I've gotten much better at scoring in Rayman 3 lately, but that's bc I had NO idea how to do certain things on that game when I was a kid. I haven' t played since yesterday though so I'm still at the Summit Beyond the Clouds, phase 1.
I kind of just want to take it back that slight amount because like Hunch said, we could post like crazy then just stop logging in which would presumably be from getting bored or burning yourself out as the others are saying.
I like it here so I don't want to get bored. Most other forums I've been on in the past I've moved on from due to them being old news or about console modding etc. but now those consoles are over 10 years old so yeah
It's because I was joking in the you game thread since post 1 had no rules saying "who's the eejit that made this thread" then Xenesus happened to be the user that started the threadXenon wrote:No, there's a clear difference between you guys and Goldfist (Xenesus), from what I've seen. EDIT: and Plum already explained that part
I'm playing the console version the traditional way. I've tried all versions and favour either the original PS2 or XBOX versions. I have the PS2 set up at the moment though but mastering those combos is hard.

To be honest, I don't know why i brought it up myself, it just came up in my brain randomly.Xenon wrote:No, there's a clear difference between you guys and Goldfist (Xenesus), from what I've seen. I'm not sure why that guy keeps getting mentioned though![]()
You know, i tried doing that when I first got this game and played it through traditionally without any care in the world for my score, running right past Tribelles and just throwing punches at hoodlums without stopping to think, what if? The game SHOWS you the %, and THAT's what totally annoyed me (especially in places like the Longest Shortcut, where I had no idea there were secret areas there), because I am a perfectionist when playing video games. I eventually did finish it but I realized it didn't unlock the last minigame (was playing PC), which I felt terrible about since I felt like I didn't do enough. I still think it IS fun to play in the traditional way, however.Xenon wrote:@ Steo: I haven't played the game for years! Edit:
I'm pretty sure Ray502 was the one who mentioned it first.Steo wrote: I kind of just want to take it back that slight amount because like Hunch said, we could post like crazy then just stop logging in which would presumably be from getting bored or burning yourself out as the others are saying.
But Hunch mentioned it to me when I was talking to him about records too.
Re: Any questions on this board?
That's what I meant by as others were saying and I seen Hunch say it to you. I can't be wrong that many times like if I'm wrong enough times I'll eventually start being right

Um, can I create a second account using the same email I used or do I have to use a different email? I am thinking of getting a Ting account sometime in the future. I understand if this sounds like a silly question.

You need to use a different email, but spell your name properly and don't be an eejit like meThe Jonster wrote:Um, can I create a second account using the same email I used or do I have to use a different email? Mods, could you please ban Steo? He's using multiple accounts in order to spam the forum.TechicianSteo wrote:You need to use a different email, but spell your name properly and don't be an eejit like meThe Jonster wrote:Um, can I create a second account using the same email I used or do I have to use a different email? Re: Any questions on this board?
How can I view who are the most active users on the forum?
Re: Any questions on this board?
I think it’s impossible to do that ?

Re: Any questions on this board?
Well, the most active of all time are obviously on the memberlist sorted by postcount. There is a tool to examine specific time periods, but due to DoS risks it's available only to staff members. Still, if there's a specific time period you want to know about, you can ask us.

Re: Any questions on this board?
Alright then, thanks! This might be another silly question but I'll ask anyway. Actually this has been bugging me since Friday, but recently I was looking up somebody and I noticed this on their profile:
"User is inactive: Profile details changed"
Afterwards I am unable to find them anymore. I know what it means, but I wonder how one can make themselves inactive?

Changing your e-mail deactivates the account until you confirm the new e-mail address.
