Hello everyone! This is a new version of the Manipulate the Image contest in which any image can be used, not just Rayman related images.
The rules and rewards will essentially be the same as the Rayman MTI, and they are as follows:

Photoshop/GIMP/Krita/etc an image chosen by the previous winner and manipulate it into something funny, bizarre, or random.

At the end of every two weeks, voting opens for a week, then a winner is announced. This contest is open to all RPC Members. There will be a base prize of 200 tings, with an additional 50 tings per entry. The winner will receive this ting prize, and the ability to choose the image for the next contest.

Rewards
Winners will receive 200 Tings + 50 Tings per entry.

Rules
  • Participants may enter only 1 image a time per 14 days.
  • If a participant wants to change their entered image for another, they may do so by sending a PM to LoveMetal or posting it in the topic.
  • Participants have 2 weeks to submit their images.
  • The poll runs for 7 days or until one entry is ahead of others by at least 5 votes.
  • Using secondary accounts, in order to give you more votes, will have your image disqualified.
  • If 2 people collaborate on an image please enter both usernames so the reward can be split. 2 people can collaborate on a maximum of 2 separate entries.
  • When voting you cannot vote for your own image.
  • Please make your vote based on which image looks the most impressive and not the person who made the image.
  • Either upload your image to a hosting website or to Rayman PC directly and include it in your post. Large images should be posted as links instead.

So, this didn't inspire anyone. I guess the nuclear option would be for someone to make one where the sky is replaced by aurora borealis, but perhaps a better idea would be for Ray, as the sole entrant, to suggest a more inspirational picture?

EDIT: Well I kind of wasn't on RPC last year actually :oops2:
 
Neither was I, but it sounded intriguing. Too bad there wasn't a lot of inspiration for anyone to try this challenge. :sad:

Oh this is most unexpected, I didn't think this was going to happen!! :lol: Ok, I like both but I'm going with Steo's too.
 
I literally just put the image up for a laugh when R4Y said so this is useless then. I didn't think it'd actually get the contest going but I'm happy to help and compete :mrgreen:
 
I'm glad to see that got the ball rolling on this contest as I'd like to see it take off. 7 months ago this was started and the deadline was 7 months ago :lol:
