Rayman Legends Xbox 360 Debug Version

So I recently got my hands on a debug review build of the Xbox 360 version of Rayman Legends, and I've decided to release the files to the public! I've made a video showing off what the debug menu does, but not in its entirety:

To play this, you need a copy of the final version. I'm not going to put the entire game up because the debug build is the same as the final version, except it has a few extra files and devkit executables, which is what the download has. All you have to do is copy and paste the files to your extracted copy, then you will have the debug build. You need to launch this XEX to get the debug menu: x360_ITF_AppFramework_r.xex

I've also included patched XEXs in a folder so that you can boot in-game on Xenia, as well as retail Xbox 360s that can't launch devkit executables unless you mod them.

Interretsing, maybe we can find unused level or enemy. Where did you find this ?
Edit : Seems like a other person also have a review copy with debug mode enabled.

Yeah, I got it from that guy. I had to buy the files from him, though.

The channel of this guy is interresting, he have a lot of video about beta and debug copy of games. (he even have a video of a early multiplayer match of the cancelled Star Wars Battlefront 3.)

I seem to recall seeing a guy in the leaderboards who somehow completed a challenge level as Murfy. From 3:07 I think I finally know why. :roll: (This was on PC though) That bit actually reminds me of the "Harry Potter" Wanna Kick Rayman! :mrgreen:

Yeah, that guy is linked to many prototypes that have surfaced onto the internet, like the Ratchet & Clank: Into The Nexus beta. I also found out that he is the guy who sold the Rayman 3 PS2 Early Preview 2 beta on eBay to DandyGuy, which DandyGuy then dumped and uploaded the files online.

Speaking of which, does anyone know where I can contact DandyGuy? I tried PM'ing over a week ago, but he hasn't responded yet and hasn't posted on here since last year. I need to talk to him about the possibility of re-dumping that beta properly because he only released the files to it instead of dumping the beta as a disc image file, which means the disc's file integrity isn't there.

This is pretty interesting stuff(even if I don't have a 360 to give this a shot).

Would this early version of the game be worth hacking to perhaps find some unused or cut content?

Edit: Actually, with this being a review copy, I highly doubt that much was changed from this to the final release.

Oh no, I just saw an entry in the leaderboards one day, with the Murfy avatar rather than a normal character. I suspected foul play.

Not really... No one has uploaded any HD game-play of the debug build running on real hardware yet and I've tried reporting the debug text issue to the Xenia compatibility list on Github, but no one's paid attention to it:

Actually, they did fix the text issue recently, it was supposed to fix the text in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, but it seems to have fixed Legends' debug text as well.

Even if I do run it on my 360 though will it basically just be the same as the video but if it were to crash just freeze the xbox I guess?

I tried launching it today on my 360. Seems that normal RGH/JTAG console can't play this xex file (even converted). Devkit or Rgloader required.

I only read over this properly and realised an Xbox with a flashed drive probably won't play it. I guess I'd need an RGH console to try it out.
