Eh, I find serifs make small text harder to read because it looks more cluttered. Though aesthetically, especially with large text, I quite like serifs. In fact whenever I'm bored and doodling, I usually find myself drawing big letters with serifs.
Anyway, I went sans-serif for the readability.

As for a poll suggestion, how about something like "If all books (non-academic), movies, videogames or songs had to be lost forever, which of these mediums would you rather we loose?"

I think that poll would fare better without books, it's probably the only "millennials are killing..." that's actually true.

Poll: I'm fine either way, but bad handwriting is usually much easier to read if it's simple and not overly scribbly.

Hmmmm, I've never really given it much thought over what kind of text is easier to see. I have to ask this though: does anyone use a font size below 10? I'm sure someone has seen a paper with a size 6 font, but I can't really think of a viable way aside from messing around with text to use text with a font size of 6 or 8. But that's just me. Readability wise, I don't think the type of text makes any difference to me anyway, it depends on the situation, I guess. Though I think the serif is nicer looking.

I used to use small font sizes in tedious second-year lab reports, in which we had to report all our results and that was the only way to make the tables fit on one page! :P

No preference. I've honestly never thought about it before, and thinking about it now, I couldn't tell you.

Hmm.. I'd say favourite console but there's far too many. Maybe either one between PS2, Gamecube and Xbox or else maybe do you prefer 80's 90's 00's or current gen consoles / games as your favourite ones?

Per Keane's suggestion, "If all movies, videogames or songs had to be lost forever, which of these mediums would you rather we loose?"

Oh... that's a tough one but I like it.

I don't like auto correct though :pascontent:

Hold on… Perhaps we could keep books but allow two selections? It's been ages since I've done a poll allowing more than one selection…
Also either way I will obviously correct "loose" to "lose".

I suppose so, though I’d be interested to see what people would choose out of the prior selection if it really came down to it. It’s not as hard if you can choose two :P

Tbh I'm nearly tempted to just do the normal one-option one with books included, to see if it'll really be as close-to-unanimous as one might think. But I'll wait to hear a few more opinions. Pre-poll poll? Ah shut up…

Well I wouldn’t mind doing the poll with the books, just to see what everyone thinks anyway, but in the end it’s all up to you Plum to decide on the poll. (Pre-poll poll btw???)

Well, asking for so many opinions on what version of the poll to run is kinda like a pre-poll poll. :P

I would personally pick books without much thought simply based on the fact that I haven't read nearly as many books as I have watched films/played games/listened to music, picking from the other three would be a trickier decision.
Come to think of it your original suggestion of having two options wasn't a bad idea, that way if books do win we can at least see what would have been the popular choice of the other three. I wouldn't mind doing it that way.

Okay, I'll do that, even if it's a bit awkward and contrived…
EDIT: Wow, I had to completely reword that to get it into the 100-character limit! The irony…

I went Books and Films. Though I really like a lot of Films and there are some interesting reads out there, I'm not going without my games or music
