I kept trying to get up there using the zip glitch, but the cloud I used just kept ending with me falling on wrong notes :P
Haha

You're gonna laugh when I tell you how in the end :)

I know I'll be laughing. Because I spent all DAMN night looking up Bongo hills just to find a fecking answer!

Hahaha. Someone else in the world must know the answer like seriously

Aw....darn! Ugh, it bothers me when there is something about Rayman that I don't know that someone else knows. (which are a lot of things) Maybe I shouldn't have told Steo to wait...

I know it's far from everyone's favourite, but I noticed the sound effects (instruments) are different on my Jaguar that what the Raytunes rip sounds like. Was it ripped with an emulator or the real hardware? Not that anyone really cares anyway but just wondering why mine sounds different

I notice the bass instrument on the main menu sounds different than mine.

Also the breaks between notes sound different. It reminds me on SMAS Mario 2 music on an emulator.

EDIT: Actually I think the Jag just has a mind of it's own and varies the note length when it feels like it ;)

I told you guys, I'm very fussy when it comes to soubd and I notice these little things.

Though I guess I'm still missing out on a lot of detail I can't hear. I have to ask Hoodcom what those sound like

I know that, I am like that too. It just didn’t surprise me, nor did it faze me as much. Hmhm

OK so anyone that cares you compare it for yourself. This is the Raytunes Rip :

This is in MP3 format from my actual Jaguar:

Rayman Jaguar Main Menu

You'll notice the instrument sound effects, the bit rate and note lengths are completely different on the actual Jaguar itself :)

EDIT: You may need headphones to notice the difference as much.

No emulator’s 100% accurate ;)
That's why I prefer real hardware. I even hate the sound a SNES emulator produces compared to the real thing :beurk:

Haha. OK it's so simple though in the end... Notice something here when the top of the screenshot isn't purposefully cropped off?

If that doesn't already give it away then this will

Oh it's the Jaguar version. Err...that wasn't the answer was it. Did they just decide to make everything lower? I see a ceiling that's not there on the other versions.

Edit: I could JAM to this music!

It's just the grabbing physics. I thought you could jump higher, but then I realised you can't. He seems to snap onto stuff from a much lower height than the other versions of the game for whatever reason. The end of the stage is the same too where you don't actually need the cloud to climb up onto the platforms.

I noticed that too but didn't think anything of it though since I feel as though that has happened to me in other versions also. (Could just be my imagination though).
