Re: Favorite Rayman 3 GBA levels?
Bump.
My favorite levels consist of The Shining Glade and Vertigo Wastes. I like Vertigo Wastes only because it remixes the Bayou (one of my fave songs in R2) and I like the Shining Glade because it's ridiculously easy for me (not that the game was hard, of course) and my fave song from the Sanctuary of Water and Ice was remixed in this level!

Didn’t Boulder Brink occur after Void of Bones? (It’s the only stage I can think of that has the precipice music playing)

Re: Favorite Rayman 3 GBA levels?
This was a pretty good game overall, though I didn't like any of the fiery levels (fire just tends to freak me out in general, and I don' t like seeing the lava in Rayman's world (don't ask)). In my opinion, only a few levels after Prickly Passage I liked, most of the levels I liked or thought were ok were in the first 2 worlds.

Re: Favorite Rayman 3 GBA levels?
heres my opinion of every level;
Wanderwood forst; Decent
Shining Glade: Good but kinda lame
Swamps of Begoniax; OK but the insta kill shit is anoying, its also too long
GArisch Gears: Better in rayman 2 and Raving Rabbids GBA
Mega Havoc 1;Meh
Hoodlum Hideout: Okay enough, a bit long tho
Magma Mayhem: Sh*t, every cart level here is just terrible, Raving rabbids gba was at least easyer
Vertigo Vastes: Fantastic
Void of bones; Garbege, too long not many checkpoints and wired insta kill hitboxes
Janos nest: Watered down Jano boss fight in rayman 2, meh
Mega Havoc 2; Decent, instakill shit is a bit anoying tho
Prickly Passage: Hands down, the worst level in the game, it made me quit for over 6 months
Punch challenge: Didnt even bother
Swamps of begoniax 2: SH*T , TOO LONG AND INSTA KILL OUT OF MY *censored*
River of fire; A bit too long , no checkpoints and Knockback
The Underlands: Kinda fun
Blouder Brink: Slides suck
Den of Rocky: HArd the first time, easy on secound
Wretched ruins: ANOYING
WIcked flow: Just a pain without checkpoints
Mega Havoc 3: Didnt even bother
Creeping Chaos: FUn but wired hitboxes on the spider
Scalemans Keep: Disgusting, the final attack is almost undogeable
The mettalworks: A pain just like wicked flow
Mega havoc 4: Didnt even bother
Magma Mayhem 2: If levels would give sicknesses, id get 40 C feavers
Razor slide: Slide nuf said
Lys Punch challenge 2: Didnt even bother
Heart of the ainchents: Worst final boss of any rayman game ever made, ( thanks to the secound part)
Lys lum challenge: you ask me to collect 999 lums? piss off

I like Vertigo Wastes but I haven't completed the entire game yet. Too many games to play.

Re: Favorite Rayman 3 GBA levels?
Yeah it got revived, but I don't think it will go that far as in being a regular thing to post on.

I agree this fight had to be among one of the worst boss fights I've ever had in a Rayman game. But you know what, I JUST realized the answer to that certain question was THIS level.StelzenBomber wrote: Heart of the ainchents: Worst final boss of any rayman game ever made, ( thanks to the secound part)

Part of the background of this level (Heart of the Ancients) in the second fight has this:Greeness wrote: Question 26: Early concept art of Rayman 3's console versions shows this unique hand claw structure that ended up not being used in the final game, however another game has a very similar looking structure that seems to have been certainly inspired by the that's seen here, which level of a certain game has the very similar looking structure?

I believe this was what he was talking about. Now that i think about it, Greeness did mention Rayman 3's console versions, and the GBA version came out the next day after the console version was released. I never even thought about looking here. Very interesting ...

Yeah, I haven't played this game in months since completing it the first time. Actually the picture I got came from the wiki article on Heart of the Ancients here:

Go figure huh?

Yep, that's the exact level I was looking for. I'm happy that this question wasn't completely wasted, but if you're looking for a point, I'm no longer allowed to help you with that. The Jonster wrote: I believe this was what he was talking about. I’m ok with that I’m just glad it WAS the right answer and I’m not just spouting random nonsense.
Re: Favorite Rayman 3 GBA levels?
I gave up looking for that after about 5 minutes and just waited until the next question

Re: Favorite Rayman 3 GBA levels?
I kept looking for about 3-6 hours before I gave up lol.
That reminds me of the two I chose above this is how I'd rank them:
1. Shining Glade - still an easy stage, remixes my favorite music, and the background is still pretty good
2. Vertigo Wastes - again, remixes one of my favorite music, and the background again is ok

Hm curious...
The game itself as a whole I didn't think was that bad, it was actually pretty good.
