I actually just found them on YouTube links, but the ones I was trying aren't in the thread I don't think. I tried the R3 laser detergents and he R1 magician.

EDIT: They were a user called WixeyFlix
 
Found this on deviantart, they should've made the Magician look like this in Origins instead of retconning him into a Teensie :? :

I wouldn't argue with it because to be fair Origins doesn't even have to relate to the story. A new game could just come out and they can discard the Origins story if they want, I don't care because Origins is a good game.

What noise? Can sound have a shape? Sound Shapes? JPEG artifacts? :mrgreen:
 
I don't have the shoes on the Origins magician, but you can clearly see that there's a great resemblance here between the 2.

Now I don't see how that's "too fat", it looks fine to me. Rayman looks entirely different in both games and nobody complains about that. Since you love the storylines, it has been 16 years, maybe he went a bit mad on the cupcakes and put on a couple of pound.

All right, that's my headcanon now. That's exactly what happened. It cannot be changed now. (Although the image didn't even look "fat" at all...)

Are you going to complain about everything? If you don't like the games' UbiArt style, then don't play them! I'm not angry, but that's just a word of advice from me. :tssk:

Even though so far I've played JUST ONE LEVEL, I enjoyed it very much and I look forward to playing the rest of the game when I have the chance after my Rayman 3 craze :mrgreen:

Also, I didn't know noise could be a part of your body..... :lol:
 
I didn't think he looked fat either but I guess everyone is different.
 
I finally picked up the game again for real this time, and I think after playing for a few hours, I now understand why Steo loves this game so much, I've become SERIOUSLY addicted to this game. This game is AWESOME :D

Still only at the Desert of Dijeridoos though cuz I'm going so freakishly slow :lol:
(I keep dying too lol)
 
It doesn't really matter though since you have infinite lives :lol:

I think it's a lot of fun, even the swimming levels are fun. Nobody ever likes swimming levels in games but Rayman has some really cheerful ones :P
 
Yeah, like 20,000 Lums Under the Sea's music level Gloo Gloo which is also really fun in my opinion. Man, if only that sea actually had 20,000 lums under it :lol:

But yeah, < agrees, those are really fun and they're even relaxing (note that < hasn't played Rayman Origins, just the Back to Origins mode in Rayman Legends, though < will surely give the full game a shot when < can ;))
 
They're more or less the same and they are really cheerful. I just think that cartoon effect looks amazing in Origins and suits those swimming levels a lot.
 
I know this is a little late, but I don't think Alexinator was criticizing the UbiArt engine, instead I think Alexinator was just criticizing the way the mod looked tho I personally thought the mod looked fairly similar to the Original Rayman game because on the original Rayman game, (I didn't even notice this until now,)he is a little chubby and about his nose, (or noise..) the reason it looks different in the mod is because his hat isn't covering his nose as much as in the original game.

Well, after making that post, I realized I did play Origins, it's just that I really want to play the entire game (the GOG version), since I only played the demo.
