I'm gonna hurt you m8
Re: Motion sickness
That speed!
Funny enough I don't get sick when I play in Mario Kart 8's 200cc mode. In the MK8 tournment done at my school last month I played in the finals which was the SNES Rainbow Road at 200cc mode and I won somehow without falling a single time!

Man, I wish my school can do something fun like that.Haruka wrote: In the MK8 tournment done at my school
Re: Motion sickness
I didn't know games could even cause motion sickness. The only thing I can't really handle is the 3DS 3D, it gets heavy on my eyes instantly and I can't relax with it at all.
But if bright colours do that sort of thing, Sunshine must suck at times. My eyes always need to adjust to the game at first, I guess that's why they added in the sunglasses guy.

Man, I can't take none of y'all to any rollercoasters.
Re: Motion sickness
I don't see why not, I have no problems with roller coasters.
Well that's not true : after making the Silver Star for a dozen times, my neck hurts.

Re: Motion sickness
I used to have a bit of a fear of them when I was younger. Don't know if I still do now as I haven't been to a theme park in years. I guess I still have a slight phobia of them.

Re: Motion sickness
Well games don't cause me to get motion sickness, but being a great height above the ground in an airplane/amusement park rides did back then, so I often avoided riding roller-coasters for fear of getting sick, as well as sleeping whenever I rode on airplanes to travel.
Ofc now these days i don't get motion sickness. I guess I just got used to the thrill of being in the air.

Re: Motion sickness
I sometimes get motion sickness from MUGEN...but only if I am playing against The_None's Version of Giygas.
Re: Motion sickness
I don't literally throw up from it but I get really nauseated from even just travelling, likely from acid reflux. When I look down from a great height I just get dizzy too and feel like I'm just going to fall and feel like I need to hold onto something.
I was told I had inner ear problems before so maybe they have something to do with the dizziness and nausea.

Re: Motion sickness
I feel like lately I would get motion sickness too, but heights are my main issue for vertigo.
Re: Motion sickness
I don't know why, but sometimes during my Portal and Portal 2 playthrough, I would sometimes get motion sickness especially when playing Portal 2 though the weird thing is it didn't even happen to me often.

Re: Motion sickness
My mother and I are both able to quite happily do crossword puzzles while sitting in a car driving over the mountains in West Kerry. We're lucky!
Re: Motion sickness
I think I just get nervous in general, it's not really motion sickness. I just don't do well at travelling for some reason. The vertigo from heights happens me though.

Re: Motion sickness
Still can’t read books or play games in the car. I could try on the tram though, trains I’m usually fine with.
Re: Motion sickness
Trains are usually fine for me too, I think I just have a thing where I know you can't get out of the car for ages, it makes me worry.

Re: Motion sickness
Mind you one time I was on the tram I was reading an ebook fine enough. It’s definitely cars.
Re: Motion sickness
I guess the more enclosed space makes a difference.
