Really? I've heard a lot of noise suggesting that they'll never admit that a second vote is necessary or even valid. Still, if you think so, that's reassuring…
 
Of course, since Brexit, the GBP has been worth less than the Irish Punt (which can still technically be exchanged for Euro at the Central Bank).

I think there's an argument to be made that we could've weathered the recession better if we controlled our own currency. But I don't know how well it would've worked really.

I still just remember being a kid and everything being more expensive since the euro was less valuable.
 
Really? I didn't realize the intra-European exchange rates were so dramatic. I just remember thinking that the euro coin must have been modelled on the franc coin. :P
