Why is Gay an option and how does that actually relate to how often your hair is washed? :mrgreen:
 
Perhaps a decade ago, "gay" as an insult was an appropriately humorous description for someone who didn't wash their hair at all. At least in Ad's mind. :P
 
I thought that was backwards and that gay would mean you wash it really often for some reason. :P
 
It could be taken that way, but I think the ordering of the other options makes it clear which is meant!
 
The ordering gives it away yeah. Still seems like a random option though. :P
 
Well yeah, it's what I learned when I was running the poll threads. Give people a booby option, and with enough time, it'll get some votes! :lol:
 
I guess it makes sense, a lot of people would pick the humorous option.
 
I wonder what the stats pundits work with would look like if Ipsos MRBI, Red C, and the like, included those kinds of options. :P
 
At least it was being used without being offensive to people from what I can see.
 
The nineteenth-century sense of "gay"? Perhaps… How often did people wash their hair in the nineteenth century anyway? :P
 
They probably used to put a cup in the bath and pour it over their heads. :P
 
I wonder if they used arsenic-laced shampoo or anything crazy like that.
