Re: The Pirate-Community Documentary
I suppose the trick is to have it at 1 fps for the jumps only, then have it go back to normal.
Re: The Pirate-Community Documentary
You'd need a toggle button of some sort. I would like to just try it for the fun of it just to see if he'd really jump that high.

Re: The Pirate-Community Documentary
I remember someone on Betilla's Gardens once saying that building a Rayman Designer map using only the in-game tile editor (rather than the Mapper) is like trying to build a skyscraper with Lego blocks. Tehrunescape pointed out that it was not impossible though – I think that applies here also!
Also, wasn't that what the TURBO button on ancient PCs was for?

The Mapper was really fun to use. I took me, however, months to discover the event editor, which means I could only play static maps before that.

Re: The Pirate-Community Documentary
Yep, me too. The whole editing system was really unintuitive. Of course, the answer was to RTFM, but they could have made it a bit clearer in the game and Mapper too.Hunchman801 wrote: Sat Aug 24, 2019 3:21 pm The Mapper was really fun to use. Re: The Pirate-Community Documentary
I believe I found out by accidentally pressing whatever key triggered the event editor (E?).

E indeed. Wow, accidentally? It must have taken more trial and error to figure out how to place stuff, and link it.

There's only 26 letters to try so it wasn't so hard.

But then W exits the map and destroys all the links, doesn't it?

Well I don't remember, but it must indeed have taken some trial and error then.

I made one level I was very proud of, though I fear it's lost forever now.
