Well, Rayman only shows his abilities in one episode, High Anxiety, where we can see him using the helicopter and the telescopic hand. The species of Inspector Grub were also the origin of Razoff's species. These series were also revealed in the L'Histoire of Rayman to serve as a game material for the canceled Rayman 2000 but only some concept art of the Aeropolis' houses were used for the production of R3.

Although I also agree that the plot isn't the best thing in the show, knowing that 26 episodes were planned, I believe the thing could have improved with interesting spoilers. Sadly that not happened so we'll never know. If that happened though, I would have liked to see more cameos about the games.

i still think we need an episode which is lacmac asleep for 21 minutes

ysee you can't rly criticise raytas much considering that it could have been so much more. like if it had gotten the right amount of episodes who knows what could have happened? O: my fair lacmac sounds like it would be interesting it's a pity it didn't happen

Now the first part of info I did not know. But to me, they should have gone with developing the game and making the show at the same time and releasing them simultaneously if possible, preferably with the game releasing first.

The plot could have been the best thing ever, but sadly we'll never know.

RTAS (Rayman the Animated Series)

Post by MetaKirbSter »

This is the thread for the (Old and not Too good), Rayman TV Series (Aired around 2000, only had 5 episodes), And was made in Foreign countries (Places like Britian I think), and pretty much Aired there, but was on DVD/VCR. (I've seen the series on YT)
So, The series Is like this: Rayman Is taken to some Circus with 4 characters (Only in the Animated series), There's this One guy who has put them in the circus (Razorbeard is his Henchman), So they escape (Thanks to Ray,), then they find this car, And then drive off to this village/town area. (Summary Of episode 1, pretty much)

Here's the Raywiki Page: https://raymanpc.com/wiki/en/Rayman:_Th ... ted_Series

Bump!
I was looking in some of the old pages of this thread when I found this :
Miss-Cerasus wrote:I dont know if you guys remember, then the Animated series was in the tv there was a advertising.

It was a question to get Rayman prices, like T-shirts and other things.
And did somebody have the video from the advertising?

Im not sure if the advertising was in all countries, because i saw it only in german.

Anyway thanks for reading ^^
Could this Lac-Mac shirt be one of those prizes?

The two topics have been merged now but indeed please search before you make a new topic, no matter how outdated it may be.

I finally managed to get round to watching the animated series yesterday.
I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it.

After reading posts about the Hollywood scripting here I thought it would be worse than it is.
I found it worked for the first episode, not so much for the episodes following.
it could have done without it after episode 1.

It's a shame it was cancelled after 4 episodes.

Could I ask Cairnie to re-upload part 2 of the animated series on Mediafire?
It’s the only file missing.

Remembering this series, I thought it sucked. But rewatching the series, I found it very charming. I really liked Rayman's character in this. He's a smartass who makes snarky comments but genuinely cares about those around him.

Personally I think it's just decent. Having more Rayman characters like Globox, Teensies etc. would have help a lot making it appeal for Rayman-fans and make it feel more like Rayman. I'm also a bit annoyed at how Razorbeard is now working at a circus... Just ruins his character completely in my opinion.

Agreed, I didn't expect that voice to come out of Razorbeard.
It would have been nice to see our friend the mosquito, instead of Flips.

Just watched the available episodes. At first I found Rayman's voice acting hilariously bad, but after the second episode it grew on me.
Overall this series is quite charming, also infinitely better than Sonic Boom. xD

Too bad that no more episodes were produced. :?

It is a pity that there have been no more episodes... If the animated series was a success (I meant that if Rayman: The Animated Series wasn't cancelled), all of its episodes would be dubbed into European Spanish...

That's why I wonder how the voices of each character that appeared in this cartoon would sound in the European Spanish dubbing, so Juan Logar Jr may reprise his role as Rayman if Rayman: The Animated Series was dubbed in European Spanish...

It's a pity, but in my opinion the series is not good, but it still deserved 13 episodes, not 4.

I'd say it deserved 0, but hey, I've never been a big fan of it.
