Sequel to Rayman 3 (Petition for Rayman 4)

Is the demand for a fourth Rayman game really that big though?
Seems to me we're basically the only people that still care.

It seems that a new petition was made a couple of months ago, I don't believe in petitions (unless they have overwhelming support), however I wanted to share the link anyway:

Firstly, there is already a sequel to Rayman 3, called Rayman Origins. Secondly, even if there is a "fourth adventure" on the way, that's gonna be Michel's next project, after he's done with BG&E 2, so a petition to Ubisoft is pointless.

(Of course, this isn't really aimed at anyone here, unless you're thinking of signing it.)

As Plum said, we will not be getting Rayman’s next adventure until Ancel completes Wild and BG&E2 (which the latter I’m looking forward to). Why pressure Ubisoft with a petition? I’d rather continue waiting for the game than have Ubisoft crank out yet another mobile game to please people.

Wanna know when the next Rayman instalment will come out? when the next gimmicky form of video game entertainment does
Nah, I don't mean to be such a pessimist but tbh my experience with the series is that someone in charge of Rayman, either Ubisoft or Michel himself are using him as a tool whenever there is a "cool" new way to play video games. IE. Rabbids for Wii, Legends for Wii U with that stupid handheld Murthy thing, All the mobile games (inc. the new one exclusively for Apple) and was there not something about the fact Origins was supposed to be episodic? I mean come on
Infact I'm surprised there wasn't a Rayman game for cashing in on PS VR

Someone at "Rayman" is trying to be too cool.
And I know that the Rayman 2 we have now is due to the fact that 3D was the hip thing at the time.
I don't want to be so sour but I honestly don't think you'll see a new Rayman game until there is either a new console or some new gimmick Ubisoft can cash in on "cough" UbiART "Cough"

Good point. I remember well that, at its announcement, Rayman Origins was indeed supposed to be episodic, and only on PS3 and X360 to boot. And further to your point about Rayman 2, Tonic Trouble was the canary in the coalmine for that hip 3D thing, and they ended up making R2 darker to distinguish the two.

So yes, where's our Rayman VR game?

Don’t worry I’m sure they’ll get to work on it soon....they just had to break the PC Legends server and neglect fixing it first, among other things!

How long has it been broken? Like, there goes my only reason to dig out the game again…

The servers have been down for almost 2 months, and only on PC as far as I know.

Sounds like they finally heard our complaints about cheaters, and decided on the solution involving the least possible work on their part.

Let's hope it's that, but it's probably something to do with Legends coming to Epic Games.

Maybe, but would they not just dual-DRM it with Uplay the same way they've done with Steam? I don't think it should affect the Ubisoft servers at all that way.

It seems currently he's too busy with WiLD indie game and then I guess he will be busy with Beyond Good & Evil 2 and then I guess time will come for Rayman 4. It seems petition was closed.
