I agree. What if he was aiming to ban a member, and somehow banned himself!? (LOL)(LOL)
Then we could either call him stupid, or clumsy. ;)

I actually think it is better to let admins and mods give reputation marks to users. At least you know the admins and mods are more truthful and will give reasons which makes sense. Of course there are members who would too, but not all members are truthful or would make sense.

I personally don't like reputation/karma systems much, though if ratings could only be given by moderators, super moderators, and administrators, it would be more fair anyways.

I think you both have a point about this. It remains to be seen how to calculate the reputation mark.
 
Yes, I agree, but there aren't members like that here (anymore). I believe that there are a bunch of members who wouldn't do that. ;)
But, if you choose for admins, super mods, and mods, its all right. :(
 
As soon as I come back home, I will tell Romano about it so we can develop it or modify an existing one.
