Tonic Trouble Launcher (Retail)

Assuming you have an image of the disc, any software that can open those and supports extracting will work. In my case it was a BIN+CUE, so open it in UltraISO and extracted from there. If you have an ISO file, 7Zip or WinRAR should do the trick as well.

To know why this happens see RibShark's post.

Regardless of his progress, an install option might be added in the future.

Is there a mod for Tonic Trouble that replaces the Crunch machines with the popcorn ones from the Special Edition? I feel like changing the popcorn machines to chocolate machines kind of ruins the joke with the corn people.

If it's the same object, but with different texture, possibly there might be no problem with replacing it using Rayman Control Panel. Texture Modding for retail version of TT is fully supported now.
Currently I have no news from Grainvillismus, so If you want to upscale the textures on your own, using AI, here they are (it's a merge between SE and Retail for better quality, with leftovers from SE):

Is that what RibShark did in this video here:

Looks like he changed the chocolate pieces to popcorn too

Also can the Rayman Control Panel handle model swapping? Some guy mannaged to swap Ed’s model out for the one from the N64 version:
