Funny how a lot of the powerups end up being irritating later. The paint fist is cool but putting yin yangs on them was not! :o

Oh yes, paint fist + yin-yangs = nightmare. I eventually figured out a trick to it, but I'm not sure I could replicate it now…

If you remember the trick, please teach it to me. Those and the basketball are highly annoying to me.

 You get the yin-yang to the left of the paintable section.
 You stand on the very left of it as it's bouncing.
 You punch when it's at the top of its bounce, so Rayman paints the background as it's coming down.
 You jump once, so the yin-yang bounces a bit higher and lands on the new paint.
 Repeat the punching and jumping until you reach the top.

It's a technique, but it's still quite tricky!

Ah, yes, the paint fist with yin-yangs gave me much trouble. One of the only things that legitimately frustrated me in Redemption. The trick does work, but it can be a pain to pull off sometimes.

I will keep this in mind on my next playthough of Redemption. Thx! :)

Man, I really want to try this Rayman Redemption. :(

Most of the feedbacks are very positive, and I really enjoyed the previous fangame of Raymanni, The Dark Magician's Reign of Terror.

I don't have a lot of time to play video games for now. I wish I had. Hope I will find a moment to play it soon.

I haven't finished it yet myself, but from what I've played so far, it's actually pretty amazing. You wouldn't even realise you were playing a fangame that was made with Game Maker.

I know I am in for a lot of pain later on in Rayman Redemption so I think I will file this for future use.

Yeah Redemption is a lot of fun. I definitely enjoyed the game when I played.

Speaking of the Dark Magician's Reign of Terror, I still need to write my own thoughts on it.

I don't know if it will still be fun if I try demise though, that sounds more like torture.

Yeah, that was hard, but still not as hard as getting out of that area with the yellow rings. :fou2: Honestly, some kind of indicator of the direction you're about to fly towards would be welcome.

I also spent some time on the basketball. It could have been a lot better if the way you punched it (like, fully charged fist or not) yielded consistent results in terms of distance covered by the ball, but it felt completely nondeterministic, especially with quick shots. Had it been more consistent, it would have made for a nice puzzle (eg. not charged, then fully charged, then not charged again, etc.) instead of a rather frustrating semi-random, trial-and-error experience.

It took me a bunch of tries before I finally got it to the other side and grab the item on the ledge in Playtopia (I think it was a token).

That minigame is the reason I stopped liking those rings, kept falling back down when I wanted to go up. Small compensation that you get unlimited time when you can still get killed in each of the potion type minigames.
Not sure which one is my least favourite, heh.
