Just curious, is the invite friends and get bonus Tings thing, well, still a thing? This topic hasn't seen any activity in a while.

I assume it is still a thing. The description in the firs post says that if you invite friends to join RPC and they are active for a few weeks you can get 500 Tings per person, however this is kind of vague, how many weeks are "a few weeks"? (at least two?) and how many posts per week count as being active?

Sure, the scheme is still up and running. What constitutes an acceptable activity period is at the discretion of the moderating team, and often depends on the activity itself.

As for multiple accounts, due to being targeted by trolls, hackers and various attackers in the past, we have a lot of tools and methods that allow us to detect (and block) suspicious activity. Thanks to this, they're long gone now. Not that this was ever needed for this particular scheme though, as I don't recall someone ever cheating by inviting a fake account.

As you probably know, every message brings you 5 Tings. However, you can also get bonus Tings by either:

• inviting friends to join PC. If they are active for a few weeks, you will get 500 Tings per mentee.
• advertising on other websites. You can create a topic about PC or add a link to PC in your signature (200 Tings each).
• submitting your Rayman 3 score to the Hall of Fame. You will get 1 Ting every 100 points scored in the game.
