Re: The Pirate-Community Documentary
Several people. Saerleiya did it in 2014 and inco started up a collaborative project in 2017. Neither project went to completion though, so it's great that you've actually released yours!

I wasn’t here in 2017, but didn’t inco get in trouble bc he failed to deliver on the project? I think I may have read something about it in a certain topic....PluMGMK wrote: Tue Aug 25, 2020 9:54 am Several people. Saerleiya did it in 2014 and inco started up a collaborative project in 2017. Re: The Pirate-Community Documentary
I never would have thought of doing it myself, but the only time I really ever streamed was on Discord like twice. I'm often too busy with community related stuff to do so, sometimes I just like to relax and play some single player game when I get a chance.

Re: The Pirate-Community Documentary
It's a bit more complicated than that. I won't delve into details here, but his trial by Judge pour in the French forums court contains all the information one needs to know about the case. The Jonster wrote: Tue Aug 25, 2020 10:05 am I wasn’t here in 2017, but didn’t inco get in trouble bc he failed to deliver on the project? Re: The Pirate-Community Documentary
Ah ok. I only mildly read the results of the trial on the English side but this should give me more insight. Considering my limited knowledge in French, this will definitely take me awhile to read.

I found out that Rayman: Mr Dark's Revenge was published on May, 2016. Maybe that can be added to the documentary.

Have Steo translate it, this will make for a good exercise. The Jonster wrote: Thu Aug 27, 2020 9:17 pm Ah ok. I wish him good luck with some of incognito's posts, though!

Re: The Pirate-Community Documentary
What an excellent idea, though it depends whether he’s up for it or not!
Re: The Pirate-Community Documentary
I haven't seen his posts yet but if you're wishing me luck then that can't be good.

Most of them were just fine but the long ones were often completely devoid of sense.

Ah, I see Mr Dark's Revenge isn't on the fangame list on the wiki too.Elite Piranha wrote: Thu Aug 27, 2020 10:27 pm I found out that Rayman: Mr Dark's Revenge was published on May, 2016. Maybe that can be added to the documentary.
We have Razorbeard's Vengeance, but not the return of our dear evil wizard.

I miss him all the same…Hunchman801 wrote: Fri Aug 28, 2020 5:41 pm Most of them were just fine but the long ones were often completely devoid of sense.
In fairness, a lot of us had contributed time and effort to the project, recording interviews in advance and recording our screens on the day itself, so his failure to deliver was upsetting to say the least.

Yeah, it was a shame, but who knows, maybe on day this project will eventually come to fruition!

Re: The Pirate-Community Documentary
Do you think this should be added to the documentary (specially considering that drolpiraat, RayTunes and the Pirate Community are mentioned in the credits)?boomboleros7 wrote: Fri Aug 28, 2020 6:31 pmAh, I see Mr Dark's Revenge isn't on the fangame list on the wiki too.Elite Piranha wrote: Thu Aug 27, 2020 10:27 pm I found out that Rayman: Mr Dark's Revenge was published on May, 2016. Re: The Pirate-Community Documentary
Well, we could speak about it on the fangame list on the wiki, but not sure for the documentary.
I mean, the documentary speaks about fangames like Revenge of the Dark and Redemption, but not all of them.
Which fangames are "worthy" to be quoted in the documentary? Could be a tricky question...

Re: The Pirate-Community Documentary
I brought up Rayman: Mr Dark's Revenge mainly because I couldn't find anything else that could be added below May, 2016.
Re: The Pirate-Community Documentary
I guess we have 5000 members for real this time!

Re: The Pirate-Community Documentary
I guess we do!
But I guess it could fluctuate again, if any of the currently-inactive accounts get activated, or if any spambots come out of the woodwork and need deleting!

Re: The Pirate-Community Documentary
I wonder how many of them are Ting accounts, bots or troll accounts. But either way, it is still an important milestone

I remember the last time we had "5000" members.
I can see the number fluctuating, but still it's a big deal!
