Not quite, but I'll give a hint.

Clue 5: In all games it appears in, this Rayman 2 object plays the same role.
Clue 5A: This object plays a similar role to a character in the original Rayman game.

Clue 6: In Rayman 3, there are 5 of these.
Clue 6a: Only 4 out of the 5 can be seen at the same time.
