Well, thank God for that!
I think it is a minority who end up with more serious cases, but a fairly sizeable minority all the same…
 
Yeah, I think it's only the elderly or people with preexisting conditions that get really sick from it. I'm still to hear of a perfectly healthy person that did.

Dunno if there were undetected underlying conditions involved there…
 
I have heard of some being critically ill from it even without any underlying conditions, though I'm sure that's still pretty rare. Elderly people or people with conditions are usually worse off, especially if they're lung problems.
 
Been a little out of the loop lately, but glad to hear Hunch is well despite his COVID scare! :)

+ The udemy class I've been working on for months now has been revamped and updated! This I find exciting! :D
- Problem is, my progress now has went from halfway done to 0 (and there's like 500+ lectures). I may have to start fresh again. Also I don't feel like I'm going as fast as I should be regarding studying and learning new things in this class (only going forward little by little each day). I wish the libraries would be open again. That's probably the place where I can benefit most from studying.
 
+ I'm out of quarantine already...
- and now the government is putting in place a curfew. :lol: :fou: :hap:

Quite possibly! Or maybe just some unfortunate combination of factors that somehow managed to make the virus very dangerous for him. I'm actually curious as to whether something similar can happen with the "regular" flu.
 
I did hear that apparently the UK won't let people buy alcohol now unless they're buying food, and that over here, they were thinking of only selling alcohol between 9-11am. :fou:

We had a similar, stupid restriction here where the bars would have to close but the restaurants could remain open, meaning all you had to do was to serve some fries to circumvent the restriction. :roll:

- Not feeling great today, I went to bed way too late and had way too much to drink last night. :P
+ At least it was fun, we had a dinner at a really neat Japanese restaurant and ended the night at my place composing a song to mock one of our friends. :lol:

Yeah, some of these restrictions make no sense at all. Even if they brought in the weird one here about buying alcohol that early in the morning, it's only going to encourage people to buy in bulk and encourage daytime drinking.

It's nice to know you had fun, and yeah, I never learn no matter how many times I end up hungover. :P

+ I have basically all of the Python scripts done for updating what I need. All that's left is the environment itself (which will only take about an hour) and then the 32-bit scripts I'll need to write.
- Figuring out exactly which 32-bit ones I will need is the problem.
 
+ I had a great day yesterday! :)
+ I’m almost finished with the second season of CL and finished the first section of the updated boot camp I’m taking.
- I tried playing my 2DSXL this morning, only for lines to appear on the top screen rendering it hard to see anything. After turning it off and turning it back on it then made a pop and turned back off.
 
- Had to pay 100 bucks to get my 2DSXL fixed. If only the process wasn't too complicated, I'd give it a try. Even more likely if i had another working 2DS/3DS as a spare.
+ Got some more freebies today bc of my birthday. :D

Yup, pretty much. It’ll be about 3-5 days before I can pick it up. :P

+ At last, finally thanks to my sister I have my own Nintendo Switch! Gonna be setting things up today but afterwards I’ll be ready to go.
+ Played Paper Mario: Origami King. Seems alright so far.
 
Oh that's nice, now you have no excuse to not play Odyssey. :P

+ The majority of things are done with LFS to the stage where I don't have to worry too much about manual upgrades.
 
Well the only thing blocking me at this point is the fact I don’t have the game yet! :lol:

+ I actually am having fun playing Origami King. My sister and cousin said it gets boring after awhile, but I’m not really that far into the game yet anyways.
+ Set up my nintendo account on my Switch so I can add people to be friends. :)
 
+ I ordered a new motherboard, this one can take two NVMe SSDs, and will support the Ryzen 5000 series should I decide to upgrade.
 
+ I should have time to perform a couple required software updates on the server today.
- Feeling a bit sad about leaving my place, but hey, I gotta buy my own apartment at some point.
 
+/- I need to find my own place at some point too. I can’t be stuck where I am forever.
- Between home/relaxation, my class, and job searching, I’m still somewhat scatter-brained in my head.
+/- Been obsessed with playing my Switch lately. Great in a way, but I’m not getting much done anywhere else!
+ Helped mom clean downstairs all morning. For once, I didn’t think it was long and boring and it actually made me appreciate the task more.
+ My next plan regarding my updated class is to try and finish the front end sections of the class quickly, since I already finished those in the old course. I really want to get to Node and the back end languages soon.
 
+ The new AMD Ryzen CPUs were released yesterday
- They're out of stock everywhere, and the only way to get one is from an Amazon merchant who's overcharging by a lot. :mefiant:
