What are the differences in question? I can't say I remember a lot of details about Rayman M, having not played it in probably well over 15 years.

Something thats been confusing me on the PC version of RM M is the optimisation keybind. At first I just ignored this option as It didn't seem to affect gameplay, but later on I saw one of the loading screen tips that says something about using the optimisation keybind to increase the speed you get off boosts.

So my question, what does optimisation do? When do I use it? What should I know about it?

I've found nothing to helps explain this mysterious option online and it's proper confused me!

If you press it while boosting, it keeps it going a bit longer. You should keep tapping it until the boost runs out.

If you press it at the exact moment you land on a slippery surface, your sliding speed will immediately go to the max, instead of taking time to build up.

If you press it while injured, it makes one star disappear from around your character's head. Keep tapping it until all the stars are gone to recover as fast as possible!

Hey everyone! I don't wanna open a new topic just for this simple question so I'm asking here: does anyone know where to find a copy of Rayman M for Xbox? I searched everywhere (Ebay too) and I can't seem to find any, not even at a high price. I only found Rayman Arena but I live in EU and I would prefer M.

As far as I understand from the RayWiki Rayman M Entry, the Xbox version was only released in North America, as Rayman Arena. So there is no Rayman M for Xbox.

Sometimes I wonder if someone or more people will try to do a remake of Rayman M/Arena, with new stages and characters (like Ly or Ninjaws).

I've got a question, sheer curiosity: is the reprise of Rayman's Pirate Stronghold theme even used in M/Arena or any of its ports? If so, where? I can't find it anywhere...

This one, ideed! But I can't find any version of the game that utilises this track. In Speed Stress it always plays Electric Final's Popolopoi music, except GC/Xbox, where standard factory theme for each character is used.

Just thinking of reviving this thread again. It's not much, but I thought of uploading some E3 footage of Rayman M and Arena respectively. There's not much in terms of differences, but it's nice to have it documented.

It seems that's the case, I wonder how the game would have looked like if they had included swimming. I hope someone uses these drawings to make a fan level .
