TTQ - Season 146 - RayGamer99

All right, now that I think about it, Sylkins appear in the introduction cutscene, so they would be the first type. As for the last one, I'll stick with the Nookins.

Well damn it, I hadn't thought of the Sylkins! :oops2: Well, technically they're not "encountered" though, as Rayman isn't present…

But yeah, Nookins are wrong :hap:

That's it! :D

Bonus Question 1: In Rayman M, which Race tracks use the same music theme in Popolopoï and On and On mode, as the Battle level Gemstone Temple?

Question 10: Which Rayman game's credits lists the localization teams twice?

To tell y'all the truth, I had no idea there were so many Teensie tribes in R3, until you asked this question! After learning of it, I looked things up on the wiki, and added The missing Template:Rayman_3 to the Nookin article.

Question 10: Which Rayman game's credits lists the localization teams twice?
It must be one of the UbiArt games, since their credits are sooooo long. I would guess it's Rayman Origins, because I've seen the Legends credits roll quite a few times (due to replaying bosses) and noticed nothing of the sort.

Well, thanks for tidying that up!
And yes, it's Origins! The first few times I played, it gave me the impression that the credits were repeating infinitely, which made me quit the game. Eventually though I twigged that it was just a specific group of people in twice: once as localization, and later again as localisation! :P

Question 11: Can you give an example of a mistranslation in an English Rayman game manual?

Indeed that is one, and quite ridiculous it is too!

Question 12: In what context is the name "Jeff" used in the PC version of Rayman 2?

PLAYJEFF indeed! Not exactly a cheat code, just the code needed to access the Tomb of the Ancients secret!

Question 13: In what context do Helicopter Bombs first appear in the PC/N64 version of Rayman 2, and what needs to be done to deal with them?
I presume it's that machine in the Fairy Glade that operates the force field keeping Ly imprisoned? If that's the one, then you need to carry powder kegs towards the machine, tossing them in the air every once in a while to shoot at the bomb. When you're close enough, throw the keg at the machine to blow up a sparadrap. Do it 3 times and the machine blows up.

Right! I just needed the fact that you have to throw the barrels in the air, but your answer covers that!

(Also, I'd forgotten to mention that Humch wasn't allowed to answer that one :oops2:)

Question 14: Can you name two characters in Rayman 3 whose lives are changed drastically (or worse) as a result of Rayman's quest to defeat the Hoodlums?
I suppose the first things that come to mind are Razoff (who had been living peacefully in his mansion, and then thanks to Rayman, Begoniax found him) and Reflux (who had been a respected Knaaren warrior, became corrupted by Andre, temporarily gained immense power, before being defeated and destroyed).

I agree! I would also have accepted Bégoniax and Gumsi, although there's probably less direct evidence for those…

Question 14: (dr_st can't answer) Which two worlds in Rayman Legends have levels containing puzzles associating symbols on walls with spiky and non-spiky platforms? (Where you pass in front of a symbol and a platform comes out of the wall which may or may not be spiky; the game shows you which ones are spiky before you have direct access to the area.)

I'm sure we can trust PluM to choose questions without the need for unsolicited advice.
Quite right

Teensies in Trouble and the Olympus Maximus?
Indeed it was! I didn't expect this question to take so long :oops2:
