That's what I figured. The ubi.ini file has the incorrect paths. Now assuming it is located under RayKit/Ubisoft/ubi.ini you can change its contents to this:

Probably, but not nearly as much as they used to. I haven't made one in almost a decade, I'd say, though I was never good at making them anyway. :fou:

I've recovered a PCX file from Ryemanni for Rayman Designer.
This file transforms the Jungle into special Halloween version.

The file is attached to this message, you can see an example on this video:


I hope it will be added to ReDesigner.

I made a level with Rayman Designer, it is called Rayman's clones!
The idea? Mr Dark has new powers, help Rayman to avoid theses weird clones and burning fires!

Haha, I love it! Care to explain how you implemented the flames and the Rayman clones? I guess the latter are just regular enemies with Rayman sprites.

The Electoon platforms are bit confusing, but they kinda remind of those Rayman Origins levels full of giant Electoons.

Sorry, I completely forgot to answer.
So, yes, clones are ennemies with Rayman sprites. It's possible if you go in the file EVE.MLT and you change "BLK" by "RAY", for example.

For the flames, they exist in the file EVE.MLT but are tagged as "always". The idea is to rename them as "fml_****" and put them at the beginning of the file. Then, you can select the flames like regular objects.

Here's the complete code that you need to put in EVE.MLT to get theses objects, and also, the electoons:


"nickel" here means the code works well, without bug.

Using the Umber theme from the Sanctuary of Stone and Fire in a Band Land level was a bit bold, but it's a good idea to rediscover those old levels nonetheless!

Oh my lord, the KMG Associates site is so nostalgic. It's one of the first websites I ever found on the internet back when I was 10, trying to install Designer on our XP machines (sadge).


This is actually from 2015 apparently (I thought it was like 2017...) it's the last level I made, I was pretty proud of it and I don't think I posted it here. It doesn't use many special tilesets or objects, just extreme precision! It's a level dedicated to the tether/fruitloop speedrun glitch used to launch yourself off rings at high speed, and has a pretty rad ending. Download is in the description.

Looking on the bright side, this level will not be possible in Rayman ReDesigner, but then again you have the yellow rings which are a hundred times worse, so whatever. :P

Wow, it's really nice to watch at the gameplay!
I tried the level on my side, but I can't figure how to cross the first pink ring :oops2:

I never speedran Rayman, maybe I'm missing some techniques, for sure XD
