Which Rayman character scares you?

1. Spider (especially with that terrifying psycho music)

2. Zombie Chicken

3. Zombie Pirates

They don't scare me because I'm too old for that, but I think as a kid I would've been afraid of Jano's giant teeth and the giant spider. That horror music it plays on Tomb of the Ancients

Lol same here, but unfortunately I have to say that no character scared me from any of the first 3 games when I was a kid. Now if we were talking about soundtracks/objects/environments, then I could say something.

These are the characters (more than characters are things) that scare me, sorted according to the intensity of fear that it gives me:
1. Rayman 2's Alternative Ending (Do you know why this non-standard game over gives me negative effects?)
2. Any character being bubblized (Seriously, I think a character being inflated is creepy and creatures being bubblized have totally white eyes like zombies in general. Like the "I want the treasure" scene, bubblizing gives me negative effects)
3. Jano and Mini-Janos (Yes, The Cave of Bad Dreams is my least favourite Rayman 2 level)
4. Spider (More than fear gives me nervousness attacks)

1. Rayman 2's Alternative Ending (Do you know why this non-standard game over gives me negative effects?)

thankfully the alternative ending was just a fantasy! I couldn’t imagine Rayman becoming that fat in the rest of his games.

It's just a nightmare basically, showing what would become of Rayman if he got greedy. It's also an important lesson that money isn't everything. You can have all the money in the world, but if you may as well be on an abandoned island on your own (isolated from everyone you know) if money is more important to you than your friends and family.

I know this lesson: money doesn't give you happyness. :tssk: I started to dislike deserted islands when I met Rayman 2's Alternative Ending. I think my family and friends is more important than having too much money. I'm a generous person.

Well, I'm going to create the "Discussing the Rayman 2's Alternative Ending" topic in the "Rayman" section to keep talking about the subject.

Not anymore today, but when i first got rayman revolution, (it was not a character sorry lol) but it was just the music and the forest of the minisaurus plains. there where clark just beats all these pirates.

I don't really know how to explain it, but when I was little, those black hand creatures in the water from Rayman Origins creeped me out.

Those tentacle claws from the Sea of Serendipity. To be fair, I'd have felt the same if I played the game as a kid, especially in the dark areas.

They still creep me out. :confus: Actually, when I first played Origins, the Sea of Serendipity reminded me a lot of fever dreams I had had as a youngster of being in Rayman-like underwater environments with disembodied hands trying to grab me. I think one of those involved Bertie Ahern's face though, which Rayman Origins definitely doesn't.

Well I guess they are somewhat creepy, especially the Legends ones with the eyes. You just see an eye moving towards you and you're like "aaahhhh go away!"

In all seriousness though, I would say the tentacle claw, Knaaren, and giant spiders would have scared me if I was younger. Those are things that I'd find a little creepy, but not actually scary.

If I was creeped out, such as being in the house on my own when I was younger, maybe I would have been a little scared over some of those things. Then again, being chased by things usually would be creepy, or being grabbed in the dark.

Does someone else think this is kind of creepy?

Rayman 1 in general terrified me as a kid. The ambient noises between music and the loading screen drums. The Tarayzan Flooding level, The Red Rocker guys in band land and the Mr. Stone chase. It got to the point i'd only play the game if i had someone in the same room as me haha

Makes me want to slap his face, really.

That is such a Ubiart thing to do. :P

Though I’d do the same thing tbf, even if I did find it creepy. All I think when I look at the image is, did Japan do something to Murfy? (don’t ask)
