I have listened to the soundtrack now, and I love the 'Raymanness' of it. Hearing 'Chasing a Dream' in 'Between Nightmares', a hint of 'Call of the Mountain' somewhere I forgot, and of course, tracks such as 'Pink Plant Woods Returns', 'Harmony on Inky Oceans', or 'On the Precipice' would be recognised by anyone here. I love it. :)

So so glad you've enjoyed listening to it. I'll let the composer know as well, these were things we spent so much time working on getting right! Thanks :D

Hi.
What do you think is the hardest level in the game?

Personally, I tried to make sure that the Final Boss was the hardest of the main game, but to be honest a lot of the endgame stuff is pretty tricky. Rising Evil also jumps to mind, as well as the level unlocked for reaching 100% on everything else, which is the longest, hardest level of the game as it relies on some really tricky moves. That's all on purpose :P

Also as a general update, I'm currently working on a 1.1.0 patch which brings some nice new features and it should be out this month! More to follow.

I think the hardest level is Rising Evil. Now I'm waiting for the game update.

Hey everyone! Guess what?!
It's time for the 1.1.0 Features Update! It's OUT NOW, so you can download it from the gamejolt page as before https://bit.ly/RaymanDB

This is a pretty fun update, introducing a new Double Damage Modifier, No Checkpoint Modifier, a Speedrun Mode (see if you can beat my Dev Score) and more!
Check out the video preview to get an idea of what has been added, I'll include a full patch log below - ENJOY :D

Additions:
- Added Restart from Checkpoint option in the pause menu (adds one death)
- New "Double Damage" Modifier

- Brand new Speedrun mode, play the full game with all powers from the start, no cutscenes, quicker transitions and no saving. Try and beat the Dev Score! (Unlock by beating, or loading a save that has already beaten, the main campaign)
- On repeat playthroughs, access all modifiers after beating Rockfall Woods (Unlock by beating, or loading a save that has already beaten, the main campaign)

Bug fixes:
- Avalanche Cymbal crash
- Grammar issues

- Adjusted plum section in Sunrise Fields to reduce softlock issues
- Removed Helicopter Sound during the credits glitch

Well, at least, I will enjoy the new features when I finally get to play the game! I'm just waiting for a quiet weekend... :fou2:

As for the speedrun mode, we should totally have a topic for it in the speedrunning section if becomes popular. :D

Haha I hope you enjoy it when you get round to it :)
Speedrun Mode is a LOT of fun (or at least I've been enjoying it! It gets really tense towards the last couple of levels though :mryellow: I really hope people like it, would love for there to be a thread if it picks up steam...

Also when you play the game... there might be... more to play. I'll leave it there for now 8)

Ahh thank you so much for posting this - I was just about to do it this morning. But yeah, there's the reveal :D
Here's the reveal trailer so you can watch it again.

Rayman: The Dreamer's Boundary - MR DARK RETURNS - Content Update Reveal Trailer

So here we go, a brand new showdown with Señor Papier is coming.
As well as that, an enhanced boss rush mode will also be added called "The Trial of Shadows" and will feature an enhanced rematch with every boss fight from the game. This evil trial is conjured by Mr Dark as a twisted game to test Rayman to his limits. As heard in the preview, there'll be a full modern remix of the Mr Dark theme from Rayman GBC AND a brand new boss fight WITH MR DARK in the update to go alongside it. I hope you're looking forward to the update :D

The update is still coming for this! I'm working on it at the moment slowly but surely as I haven't had loads of time. But there'll be a couple more surprises as part of the release. I hope you'll all enjoy the extra content.

Great news! I did start the game in December by the way, and I really enjoyed it! Can't remember how far I got exactly, but I played at least a half-dozen levels until I got stuck, and I haven't had an occasion to give it another try yet, but hopefully my skills will have improved by then.

Ah yeah that's fair. Its one of my least favourite levels in the game to be honest. I was trying to go for an open exploration level but I don't think it works overall. Luckily, if you've completed every other level up to this point, you should be able to skip it and come back to it later if you want :D

The following levels are way more fun!

Still a better "Definitive Edition" than that of Rayman Legends. :P
