I don't know when I last had a subject being regularly talked about on the news, over lunch at work, over dinner with my family, and here on RaymanPC. This ChatGPT thing sure has everyone talking…
Today I spent a disproportionate amount of time interacting with AI agents and discussing the output with colleagues. I asked Craiyon to give me a drawing of a "flow diagram" (not of anything in particular) and for some reason got six drawings of girls' faces, and three blotches of colour

Then I was like, check out what Craiyon gave me, and one of the guys asked "what's Craiyon", so I asked Bing Chat (same thing as ChatGPT but doesn't need a specific account) and copy-pasted the answer.
After that I couldn't stop messing with Bing Chat, despite knowing I was increasing the sum total of BS in the world. I didn't really spend that much time on it, but it weighed on my mind. I felt as if my own intellect were atrophying, and when trying to do some actual work (Python scripting with Pandas) I couldn't think straight

Of course I haven't used Pandas in months, so that's part of it, but that act of outsourcing a simple question from a colleague to AI, though done in jest, seemed to have a psychological effect (like taking photos makes you less inclined to remember what you've seen…)
Well that was a crazy post. Hopefully I'll feel more normal in the morning
