Yes there is, though at the moment it's mostly used to monitor runs and comment on them.

Speaking of which, it's funny how EricZen's LOTLD gateskip came at such a good time for this year's SpeedRay contest. I noticed that no full-game runs are using this trick yet; given the potential for improvement in the NMG category, I wonder if we're going to see new records soon. :D

Nice IL from EricZen but this seems very unlikely to get in a full game run (almost frame-perfect). And you're losing the time from jumping and hovering around if you don't get it and trigger the cutscene. 😬

Good point! Maybe there's a visual clue that could possibly make this easier?
