Rayman in the Phantom Show

The trailer appears there might be quite a few rayman features used in the new DLC but I’m also fearing they’re only using Rayman’s name to quiet the fans :mefiant:

Why does he look like Nitrorad

Because he always does

OK, so it's basically gonna be a sequel to RRR TV Party then? Well, at least that grants the wish of those who want to forget the UbiArt games happened :hap:

Ah, so there are people who want that? :o

Yeah, and looks like rayman and Mario won’t be in the same missions at all

Yeah, that was kinda disappointing to hear. It would be sooooo awesome to have Mario and Rayman working together in Rayman's universe! :D
But I still look forward to seeing the Rayman DLC when it does come out, though I don't have the game, sadly!

It's probably worth getting it beforehand to familiarize yourself with the gameplay mechanics, though you'll most likely get the hang of it very quickly.

Found the game second hand very cheap so I’m going to bash through it really fast so I can just throw myself into the DLC. I have to admit I feel a little bad that I’m only picking it up for the DLC, but as Rayman fans I don’t really think we can be blamed. I just really want to see Rayman in 3D again :(

I do, however, know the team at Ubisoft Milan is extremely passionate about Rayman and his future, so I’d like to see where this goes!

I'm always wary of crossovers, so I'm personally happy that it's just the Rabbids for now. :oops2:

I agree. I’ve never been a fan of crossovers at all. Perhaps because it can break the immersion of the world? :oops2: But if Rayman was going to be with anything, I guess this is the least egregious of choices. I really hope they stay separate franchises after this DLC, though. Rayman has been overshadowed for too long.

I think they wanted to bring rayman fans over to sparks of hope so that was what they intended, don’t worry if you fill a little bad :) hopefully it’s a little hint that ray is returning in 3D :D

That’s a nice sentiment :hap: And I really agree that this is just their way of showing Ubisoft that there is an audience for a new game. So many people that worked in Ubisoft during the best years of Rayman are still at Milan, and Davide Soliani getting that Rayman statue and putting it in their office felt like a symbolic gesture to me. It was as if to say “he is not forgotten.”

Exactly! I can’t help but feel just a little hopeful. And if it takes a while, then at the very least there are so many wonderful fan projects around the corner to keep us happy :D

I know for a fact that the gameplay is the main appeal of this game, so I would be shocked if it wasn’t fun! I’m really excited to give it a try, though. I hope that you can play the DLC day one too!

Yes I certainly will! I was the only one of my friends who didn’t get into KB (which was ironic as I was the only rayman fan :mefiant: ) so I hope SOH and the dlc will turn out different

In your defense, I see Rabbids and Rayman as entirely separate series at this point. There was really no reason as a Rayman fan to get into it until the DLC was announced because it really did feel like Ubisoft abandoned him to rot. When it comes out we can share our thoughts on this forum! :hap:
