Rayman in the Phantom Show

I now think that Hunch is just Razorbeard in disguise :mefiant:
I thought you weren't supposed to tell anyone!

Anyway, I have started the DLC today, but it's going slowly, as I'm documenting it on the wiki at the same time, and I have to work, too. :P

I won't make much progress in the next few days as I'll be out, but I'll definitely let you know what I think when I'm done.

In the meantime, anyone playing the DLC, please help with the wiki if you can! As you can see here, there is a lot of red links (articles that require creation), and the main article itself is far from complete (notably the plot and quests sections). Any help, however small, is appreciated! :D

I see you have the McDonald's figures here. :hap:
Yeah, I am also a proud owner of the super rare Steo Mc Donald's figure!

Lols why do I feel like this was Hoodoo’s creation…?

(Spoilers for some abilities) From what I've seen in that amazing behind the scenes video, they brought back the Shock Rocket and Vortex power-ups! At last after so many years! :hehe:
Seems like they combined the shape of their design and the powers with the costumes/transformations from Raving Rabbids and its handheld adaptations! Very interesting!

I appreciate how they managed to tweak the game's usual gameplay and level design to make it feel more like a Rayman game/platformer! :)

Also, I really love that they used the Rayman 2 health bar and Rayman 3 score interface for the video!

And let's not forget the many references and all the love they have for the franchise!

And how cute, they even attempted to do some subtle advertising for that one Apple Arcade game which nobody played! :hap: :P

In all seriousness, you can really feel the passion behind the team and especially in Soliani's eyes! These people definitely need to be part of the team that would work on any possible future Rayman entry! :proud:

Have yall listened to the Phantom song?
It's a great metaphor for the Rayman series itself.

ALSO THEY REFERENCED MR DARK!!!!!

When in it did they mention this mister dark character?

(Yes I have to extend my post to avoid ting deductions XD)

Hello RPC peeps. Its been idk how long since I last visited this site. Thought Id check in and drop some screen shots of easter eggs and references for if Master still does Raywiki stuff. Hope things are chiller here than they were back in ze day. :P

Hi Darts! Great to see you again, hope all is good for you. :)

I haven't come across Master in a while, but by all means, do not hesitate to upload all of those screenshots directly using this link. If they show Easter eggs, they are definitely relevant for the wiki, and we'll certainly find a place to include them. I would do it myself, but I have to go now, so any help is appreciated.

Speaking of which, I've also been taking screenshots myself, but I haven't had time to upload any since I must write about the plot, the gameplay and the quests first. Again, if anyone can provide a full list of those, complete with details if possible, this would be very helpful. :hap:

It looks really good indeed. Please upload it to the wiki if you can! :D

Oh no, I am sorry admiral!

I am a bit slow playing this DLC but I'll gladly help when I can!
I have already given a look to the page and you are doing a great job! :D

Done, I added the three complete pictures from Yves' ArtStation page! That's my first time uploading images on the RayWiki so I hope I didn't mess anything up! :mryellow:
Guess we could also add the relevant ones and some new info to the Vortex and Shock Rocket pages later!

Speaking of which, am I the only one who thinks the new Vortex has a strangely similar hair shape to the early design of the R3 version, but with a bit of Grandmother Rayman thrown in there? :hehe:

Meanwhile, the Rocket gives me a few vibes from the early Heavy Metal Fist (which was erroneously referred to as the Shock Rocket) with a bit of a reference to Rayman riding the R2 Shell for the way the ability looks. Even if unintentional, changing more than Rayman's fists and colours this time makes them more similar to what they could have been before the final Rayman 3! :)

I'm still very much alive, just doing my own thing now. Will always be a fan and lurk in the distance but I'm past the point where I have the energy or time to be an active participant these days. It's interesting to see the demographic shift tho, I never thought I'd still see fresh faces that are just as boisterous as ever xD.

Y'all carry on and enjoy being a bunch of crazy Rayman nerds, it's certainly a ride. 😁

Same here, months ago I just tended to do my own thing outside of here, but lately circumstances along with the new blood has gotten me to come back and be more proactive again. Though I'm still human obviously, I can only do what I can do, you know (if that even makes sense)? Anyways it's good to see you Master! :)

Still haven't gotten around to starting most of my other Switch games (I'm still on Phantom Brave) so even I did get Sparks of Hope it would probably take me months before I start playing. :oops2:
