One day, the ever-insatiable young Globox was stuffing himself silly with the delectable fruit of the blubue buberruby bubush.
Little did he know that his buffet was home to a venomous blubue bubeastubie...
... and the bubeastubie wasn't giving up its eye without a fight!
Finally, greedy Globox just went ahead and popped the whole bubeastubie down his gullet.
As he soon discovered, blubue bubeastubies tend to travel in swarms...
Singularly savage swarms, at that.
The blubue bubeastubie's buddies finally cornered the Shubamuban and really let him have it.
Poor Globox stumbled home covered in nasty bubeastubie buboils.
The buboils healed, but the damage was done. The bubeastubie venom had turned young Globox a permanent shade of blue, and the magic peoples learned a valuable lesson:  Always beat a buberruby bubush before stuffing ones belly...

Healthy bit of scepticism never hurts, but also a lot of answers can be a mere search away ^_^
 
I agree that the Rayman hair and Globox berry stories should be taken with a grain of salt, and thank goodness for that.

Also, for the cutscenes, most people take them with a whole wagon of salt! I personally love them and they do a good job acting like how an origin myth should be :winkgrin:

That of Globox is canon, if it were a simple skin, why does Polokus talk about it as if it were real ?

I feel like the cutscenes suit the nature of the rayman series, but everyone hates them because bald rayman is their sleep paralysis demon
 
Has your fanboy heart been hurt by the Phantom's Rants ?

The first times I found it rather funny but, I begin to believe that the Phantom is right on some points :(
 
This is exciting! I remember Rayman Origins being teased for the first time, and it felt like it's been forever since we've had an actual Rayman game... and now it's been 10 years since Legends, damn. Very glad to see Rayman back, kind of, and I hope his true return is to happen soon. I love all the little references, like the Walking Shell or those powerups from Rayman 3, they really bring me back. I've done a lot of thinking about Rayman in the last few months, or rather about the enormous impact the games have had on my taste, and how they shaped my artistic style since early childhood - I'm about to release my solo album, and only now do I realise that certain parts of it have been greatly inspired by the music of Rayman, and that sent me on this whole trip down memory lane. Having been pretty much raised by this forum, and having met so many people from around the world, all since the age of 9, uh... I forgot where this sentence was going. I'm just getting sentimental! Funny how that works. Hope to hear some more news on Rayman one day.
 
Exactly the same view! My only problem is when people say origins wasn’t a proper return even though it had everything we needed :mefiant:
