Theories on the Chronology of the Rayman Universe

it's not a theory, but I'm the only one to have understood that the desert of Legends is just the desert of the digeridoos of Origins, they are the same instrument and the same symbols, and the fact that it is devastated is explained by the fact that the game takes place 100 years later

this means that there is still more than a century between Origins and Legends ? But at the end of Origins he falls asleep, and continues I used that Murfy wakes them up in Legends
 
Yeah I think the implication is that it's meant to be 100 years, the team can't exactly have been napping during the events of Origins and there are references to Origins happening in the past with the presence of things like the Dark Teensies, it kinda *has* to be at least 100 years between the two to make sense.

Not that making sense has ever been in scope for Rayman's canon. I still remember when Polokus was birthed from the lums concentrating their power into consciousness. Rayman was a mysterious being who washed up to the Glade of Dreams - and he was the only limbless and yet somehow defeated Mr Dark, in a game where everything was limbless.

Rayman? More like Retconman.
 
Yeah it says “one entire century of yawning and snoring” so that backs your point up but it could be just a metaphor for how long they’ve slept (not saying your wrong btw)
 
In Legends, Polokus explains that Rayman and his buddies have slept a century since the events of Origins
So I thought that all the heroes' naps should last at least a century, but I remembered that if they woke up it was because Polokus asked Murfy, so how much longer could they have slept ?

And the sleep in R1, R3, RO, and Adventures and Mini ?
 
We must put examples, because I am sure that 70% of the people who will read the post, would not have understood, may have come back to subject ?

That's a great idea, let's get back to talking about the sleeps. Anyways guys if we look up the page of Legends on RayWiki there is evidence that shows that Rayman and the heroes have been sleeping for at least 100 years since the adventures of Origins.
 
What? I was just asking if he could change because I was annoyed with the fact all his posts had at least 10 pictures of random backgrounds of ubi art levels.
 
It's an illustration, to put the reader in context, and it's not "random" since the desert levels were there to show the gap between Origins and Legends
But how much longer could the heroes have slept if Murfy hadn't woken them up, and if they sleep so much, is it out of laziness or out of need?
