What's your favourite colour ?

Kind of how I feel about your choice. If you really do like gray though, that's fine but I find gray to be boring.

Same here! Purple is a very beautiful and elegant color and it's been one of my favourite ones for a few years. It's something I'm glad I've known for a few years... Lilac and purple tones look great on me!
 
Yeah purple's a really nice color. It's actually one of my top 4 favorite colors! :D
I really like when it's blended with other colors, like purple/red, purple/blue, and purple/pink.

I feel like purple has always been associated with royalty for some reason.
 
Probably because I’m the medieval times purple was the most expensive dye to get so the royal always used it to show their wealth off HISTORKY

That's exactly the main reason! Also, it isn't a casuality that most of the national flags don't have any purple tone :P
 
That's exactly why I said most :P. Spain is one of the few, but it's just a very small part of the flag. After the Perkin's mauve, purple dyes weren't that expensive, that's why some other modern flags do have more purple on them, like the Spanish Republic flag.
 
Yes there's at least 3 more (I think the other flags are either Central American or South American), but purple must be one of the least used colors in national flags.
 
Producing the purple color was very complicated... I don't remember which snail it was, but they needed thousands of these snails to produce only 30 grams.

Another color I really like is the "rosso corsa" (Ferrari color). Probably most the cars I tuned in NFS had this color :lol:

I heard there was a certain purple colour that costed the lives of 10000 snails to produce a single measly gram
 
Nice to see some appreciation and hear good stuff about purple, because it's my favourite too!
