What's your favourite colour ?

I feel kinda left out of the purple-fave gang. Purple is my number 2!!! (Behind brown and grey :bad:)

Also I’ve found the ultra-pricey purple. Tyrian!!! :fou2:
 
Wouldn't that make purple your number 3 :P

Purple's not in my top 3, but I like the color a lot though.
 
This coming from the guy who is serious about getting the highest number of posts and Tings quickly while disregarding warnings from other people? Yeah it's hard not to take you seriously. :|

I just read this, but apparently they use the mucus of a sea snail somewhere in the Mediterranean Sea. I don't believe the practice of using animals for colored dyes is that uncommon these days, but gee nature sure is fascinating.

Yeah, Tyrian purple dates all the way back to antiquity, doesn't it? It was one of the things that Phoenicians had that everyone else wanted… That and alphabetical writing! :D
 
I used to think green is my favorite color, which I guess I still like it, but blue has been my favorite for a long time. Which may be a bit obvious given the color of my OC. :lol:

For my computer's RGB I'll just keep the colors set to blue as well. I'll probably do the same for the new audio rack with some RGB lighting.

I actually like the idea of having both blue and green together in a way, maybe like that kind of light blue colour and a blueish tinted green, sort of like what I did in VS Code. :lol:

You know, I do like that combination a lot now that you've shown it off. :lol: The shades of those colors flow nicely together.

While I do like various colors of blue, I definitely wanted the right shade for my OC. I couldn't tell you the exact name of the color itself but hey! It's easy on the eyes. Plus another character of mine has dark blue hair so. :mrgreen:

I get fussy like that now and spend ages trying to theme VS Code to something that I like. I tried all the themes that already exist and there's always at least one thing I dislike about each one. :mrgreen:

These are really nice colors. The second one in particular is a shade of color I like using.

I don’t think I ever stated this here but as a kid I used to hate green, I always felt like green overshadowed blue. It grew on me eventually though and now it and blue have become my favorites and I really love how well the two go together. Lately I’ve also become fascinated with the combination of purple and pink, as I think they also gel well together in a design.

Yeah I think it's a nice colour. I've always liked colours that are a mixture of blue and green.

I never knew this. I don't think I even had a colour I hated at any point, though I recall saying yellow was my favourite colour when I was 7. I think purple looks cool also, I have had cars in GTA before that were purple, and ironically I thought purple and bright green kind of worked together. :P

I don't think I've ever really hated a color either, maybe just how it looked on a certain car before but that's about it.

Purple can look really nice on things, like my late Uncle's Chevy Chevelle, or even... well Rayman. :lol:
 
Yeah I have also had the experience of hating how something looks in x colour, but that same colour looks good on something else. For example, I probably wouldn't like most things in brown or find it to be a very exciting colour (especially those Noctua fans lol), but it can look good for things such as hair and eye colour, or even simply a table etc.
