Twitter I don't care much about, I refuse to call it "X" because screw that nonsense. The blue bird was so much better and had a much better value and was more well known. Just because Elon Musk is obsessed with "X" doesn't mean I have to like it.I mostly use Twitter at this point for Splatoon clips and somewhat keeping up with some of my friends' activities.
Hot take, I actually like the X. Twitter was a dumb name.
Also personally, I like arguing on youtube. Be the chaos that you want to see.

Just know that I will continue to refuse to call it anything but Twitter.
I'm still going to call it twitter. It's just ingrained in my muscle memory. Yet I like the new branding. I will say that tweeting, was a branding that made sense.

Hmmm, are you referring to when COPPA became more forced by YouTube and the site had to crack down on videos made for children?

That's fair. I think it was quite annoying for them to remove dislikes, at least being visible to the public. Although twitter did have the change where it forces me to log in, so that is annoying to me as well. I think that's probably part of growing older, things change.
I am trying to be having a minimalist mindset with social media, so I don't give too much information out. I may have done that too much earlier on.

I don't think any of those changes were related to COPPA, just Google getting rid of things for the sake of it. Like video annotations, those were coolI remember YouTube used to have Friends and DMs back when I first joined… So all that's gone then, eh? I guess they tried to move that stuff over to Google+ or whatever they ended up calling it

Yeah, we see how Google+ ended up turning out... Though yeah, the features they used to have were cool. It's such a shame they took so much away.
Also man, things sure have changed with YouTube over the years, and now look at their war on AdBlocks. They're only making AdBlocks better from their recent push.
