How to play Jungle Run and Fiesta Run on newer Android versions
Hi. This tutorial will show you how you can play Jungle Run and Fiesta Run on new Android devices. Android 9 and some Kindle Fire tablets are an exception because they can download the required files just fine. I haven't tested Android 10, 11, or 12, but have tested 13 via a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. I also dunno about Pixel phones and Android 14, but you can try.
1. Download RayCarrot's Jungle Run and Fiesta Run patch.
2. Download Jungle Run data and Fiesta Run data. (separate links for convenience)
3. With the downloaded APKs (Jungle Run.apk and Fiesta Run.apk), tap on them and install them.
4. Download ZArchiver. (for extracting the ZIPs)
5. Extract the ZIPs into the Android folder, NOT the data one.
6. Plug in your USB to your computer. Windows is preferred.
7. If not done already, set the USB for "File Transfer" on your phone or tablet.
8. Navigate to the folder "Android" on your computer and copy the folders waiting for you into the data folder.
9. Nicely done! Open the apps and try it!
Now, Fiesta Run will have a Google Play Games error, but that's fine.
Enjoy! I hope I helped some people with this issue!

Re: How to play Jungle Run and Fiesta Run on newer Android versions
Couldn't you just download everything directly on the device you want to play the games?
So there's no need to use a computer and transfer the data on the Android device
This could be a quick solution for that downloading error you might get when the game downloads the data though

Re: How to play Jungle Run and Fiesta Run on newer Android versions
Sadly, that's not the reason. Android 11 was the first version of Android to prevent the access of the data and OBB folders without a USB. However, if you're lucky and got the loophole work on version 13 (I wasn't able to), you can place the required folders without a USB.ItzalDrake wrote: Wed Jan 10, 2024 3:29 pm Couldn't you just download everything directly on the device you want to play the games?

Oh wow I didn't know that newer versions of Android don't give you access to such data, what a shame..
Thank you for explaining!

Re: How to play Jungle Run and Fiesta Run on newer Android versions
Not a lot of comments for this one. So I registered here just to add to it. First, this should definitely be stickied! The old through, for older android, is stickied and I think most people see and go to it when looking to get Rayman on Android. I've been reading about how to get it to work for the past couple of days, and finally only on the last page was there a link to this "new android" version. I wondered why it didn't come up first, when searching in 2024, and I assume it's because the original old android thread is stickied and got all the traffic, while this was wasn't and is falling into oblivion under newer posts.
Anyway, second reason I posted this, was to say THANK YOU for your effort. I've been trying to get Rayman to work on my Samsung Fold 4, Android 14, for days via other means (before finding this thread). Unfortunately, Fiesta Run.apk didn't install at all because the "application is incompatible with this device". Sad.
On another note, following the direction, step "5. Extract the ZIPs into the Android folder, NOT the data one." is a bit confusing, especially because it comes BEFORE plugging the phone into USB and having access to the data folder. I personally assumed it meant extract the com folder into the Android folder, not the data folder, after plugging into into the computer. But later, step 8 says to copy the com folder into the data folder. That is leaving me confused. So to be safe, I copied the com folder into both android AND data (i don't see any reason for it to be in Android, but I did it only to fulfill step 5, just in case). Either way though, it didn't wor. It gave me multiple errors like "Download error, please make sure you are connected to the Internet and try again later" , "This app isn't compatible with the latest version of Android. Check for an update or contact the app's developer.", and "This app was bilt for an older version of Android. ..... [2 more sentences after]" and then it just closed.
So, sadly, nothing worked. Am I missing something or did things change for Android 14 maybe?

I'm a bit confused, which older sticky are you referring to? I can't find any stickied topic for either Jungle Run or Fiesta Run. One thing's for sure though, the modding and utilities forum index could really do with an update...Spixe wrote: Tue Feb 27, 2024 4:41 am Not a lot of comments for this one. First of all, thank you for your enthusiastic idea of this getting stickied. I hope this helps problems.
Now. Step 5 is when on your phone, copy the "com" folders in the Android folder once you extracted the ZIPs. Step 8, what I meant is ON your computer, drag the "com" folders in your Android folder into the data. Also, any apps compatible with older versions of Android, like 5.0, are unsupported on Android 14. This is what I read on Wikipedia. I hope this clears up confusion.
Re: How to play Jungle Run and Fiesta Run on newer Android versions
The solution is not functional, I downloaded "Rayman Jungle run patch" then I downloaded the data, installed the apk then decompressed the data files in Android>data , however this This does not work, when launching the game an error is displayed . Is this because the data download link on this site is no longer functional? Or another reason?
Re: How to play Jungle Run and Fiesta Run on newer Android versions
You'll need a computer to put the data files in. It worked for me.Picsmiald wrote: Fri Jul 12, 2024 4:08 pm The solution is not functional, I downloaded "Rayman Jungle run patch" then I downloaded the data, installed the apk then decompressed the data files in Android>data Screenshot_2024-07-12-17-04-52-102_ru.zdevs.zarchiver.pro.jpg, however this This does not work, when launching the game an error is displayed Screenshot_2024-07-12-17-05-04-093_com.pastagames.ro1mobile.jpg. Re: How to play Jungle Run and Fiesta Run on newer Android versions
Hi.
The Jungle Run data download link is not working. Is there some other link where I can diwnload it?
Thank you.
Edit: found this XDA link with APK and Data combined together: https://xdaforums.com/t/rayman-jungle-f ... l.4658702/
Works on Android 14 on Samsung S21 Ultra. There is an error, that the apk is for older version, but runs fine.
