< still thinks the likes of Tesco and Lidl are the cheaper places here. Weirdly, Lidl isn't even that cheap in Sweden. < guesses they kind of just set prices for things over there.

< Will say that mostly depends on the store more than anything. Some places do offer such a thing, but I think location is key here.

< actually wonders if other countries do the recycling deposit thing? Sweden has always done it, but Ireland started doing it too. Basically, you have to pay a deposit for cans and bottles, then you get the deposit back when you return them.

< thinks it's not bad, but only useful if you're taking some grammar lessons on the side. At least that's the case for Russian, which has complicated grammar.

< can't even believe that < done 3 all-nighters still. < would never manage that now. < still stays up late but < can literally not function without some sleep.

< could probably do it again, but < would have to get up really late on Friday, and have nothing planned on Sunday, and that's easier said than done!

Of <'s two grandparents who are still with us, the situation is the same! <'s grandma uses a smartphone with email and all sorts of apps, while <'s granddad still needs us to update the time on his watch twice a year.

Also < won't be doing japanese but rather finally getting fluent in german and then most likely spanish.

<'s friend uses Duolingo and he's been learning Japanese. < isn't sure how it is for the other languages, but he does his daily lessons and is motivated by their ranking system.

Ireland never had it before, but < thought it was interesting that Sweden did. Then even said it would be interesting if Ireland had it (since < often sees a lot of litter), then was surprised that they actually introduced it. It's a bit silly though how the closest one to < is around 2km, and < doesn't have a car, so < has to walk down the canal with bags.
