Story about Phoenix The Guardian.

Chapter 4
The fall of the realm

While Leva and Alexa searching for the remaining guardians, Phoenix fly through space at his maximum speed ( about 10 times faster than the light ). Still it took him 3 days to reach the realm of the Guardians. When he saw the realm it was quite peaceful, but he also saw the ship of the darth forces. Phoenix didn’t know how to pass it without getting notice, due is lacking of power, and he doesn’t know where to find is remaining powers. So he had no choice then rushing in to the realm. At least the leader will know that there is another Guardian to fight with. First he tracks down where Tirone is, because he might know where to find it. So he flies in to the realm.

At the same time Leva and Alexa found the fifth Guardian. It was the Guardian of Lighting. He is also called Ramond. So they keep searching for the last three Guardians. Ramond argued less than Phoenix. So was excited that he had special powers and stuff. Alexa was surprised that it was this easy and that Ramond didn’t change in his Guardian form. But the search has priority, so she lets what it is and figures it out later.

When Phoenix passed by the HQ from the darth forces discover of course Phoenix, but they didn’t know who it was.
One of the observer: “my Lord, some one enter the realm, and it isn’t one of our troops”
The leader of the Darth forces: “I know, you low-life being. It’s a Guardian. But what can one extra Guardian do? Commits the attack… NOW. Ahhhh… I love when the opponent are helpless. Mwhahahaha… * cough ** cough *”

When the Darth forces start the attack, Phoenix was talking to Tirone.
Phoenix: “Good to see you again, old friend”
Tirone: “Ack… Don’t say old. So you come here to help me defend this place, aren’t you?
Phoenix: “Well, I like to, but I don’t have all my powers yet. Do you know where to find it?
Tirone: “Have you forgotten it? Each elemental Guardian has his power stored in his own planet. In your case it is on Furon. There are here 13 planets, 8 planets for the elemental Guardians, one ( where we are on now ) for the community meeting, and 4 are unknown for us. Still I want to visit one of them, but I can’t enter. There is some very strong magic protecting it.”
* The sky is darkening now *
Phoenix: “Eummm… Tirone I think you better run from this battle, one and a half guardian can’t stand against that. We better go to Furon to regroup and get my strength back.”
Tirone: “Hmmm… you are quite right. I see you haven’t lost your touch after all.”
Phoenix: “Well let’s get going, every minute we waste on this chit-chat, it reduced our escape chance!”
* So they leave the planet and head on to Furon *

So they left the most important planet for the Darth Forces, a “great” victory for the Darth Force.
 
Chapter 5
The quest for Phoenix


When they arrived on the planet Furon, It seems very quiet, peaceful and? hot. Some how Phoenix feels complete again, but he still haven't his power back. Phoenix doesn't know where to look for it, neither does Tirone. Tirone doesn't know it, because on every planet every Guardian hides their core of power on different location.
Tirone: "Well Phoenix, you better start looking for your powers. The forces of Darth will head this way."
Phoenix: "I don't know where to look for it. I can't remember where I hide it!"
Tirone: "What?!?!? Do you have an anvil falling on your head? You better try to sense it or we will be dead in a few hours!"
Phoenix: "Oh right, don't be too harsh. You are old and grumpy... Just kidding. Oké its looks like that way."
* Phoenix point to the north *
Tirone: "Well... get going. I will wait here."
Phoenix: "That's all right. I won't be long away."
* Phoenix flies to the direction where he pointed at *

Leva and Alexa are still looking for the Guardians. They already found Guardian of lighting, ice and wind. They are also called Ramon, Shiva and Talon. They are still searching for the Guardian of poison. They have a hard time to find him. Because some how the energy pattern is disrupted, but they still can feel him... just. But after some afford they found Marlon, the Guardian of poison.
Leva: "Well, we have all the guardians now. We better had back as fast as we can to the realm. We don't know how long Tirone can hold on."
So they all fly faster than the light to get back to the Guardian's realm.

In the HQ from the Darth force are celebrating for there "victory" to conquer the main planet.
The leader of Darth Force: "Yes... Let's move this crappy base to that planet. Soon all the powers will be mine. On that planet he will regroup our forces and capture the rest of the planets."
One of the commanders: "My lord, you don?t really have a fight against them. Its troubles me. It might have something with the two Guardians that left the realm a week ago. While we arrive there, the two remaining Guardians fled instead fight us. It's not like them."
The leader: "You are a fine commander and you worry too much. They are just cowards. That's all"
And so the migration of the Darth forces has already began.

On planet Furon Phoenix has began his quest to search for his powers, while Tirone is waiting on him. The rest of the Guardians are rushing as fast as they can to come back home to defend it.
Tirone: "I hope Leva and Alexa doing fine. I hope they found the other Guardians. At least they found one Guardian."

Isn't this that story I uh...reviewed at Locke's forum? Either way, I think you pretty much know what I think of it and I'm just too darn lazy to come up with comments about it.

Chapter 6
The search of the power (1)


Phoenix is still searching for his remaining powers on his planet Furon. Still he doesn’t know where to look at. He can’t really sense where it is, unlike the others. He still thinks why he can change to a Guardian without waken his power on a planet. He starts to talk to himself. He talks about his “other” life and the Guardian stuff. While he still thinks about it, he keeps flying north, till he ends up on the most north point in the planet. He senses that some strange power is hidden in there. Phoenix thinks it might be here, so he goes to take a look in there. It was a cave middle of nowhere.
When he was about at the entrance of the cave, it doesn’t look like a special cave, but he has a strange feeling about it. He still decides to go in the cave to look why he has some strange feeling. He just makes one step inside the cave and suddenly a voice start to talk.
Spirit of the cave: “Who dears to enter the cave of the great one?”
Phoenix: “Who… who… what are you? “
Spirit of the cave: “What or who I am doesn’t matter, what its matter who are YOU?”
Phoenix: “I am Phoenix the Guardian, Guardian of the fire realm.”
Spirit of the cave: “You are lying, his spirit is still here. Now… be gone liar.”
Phoenix: “No really, I am Phoenix. But some thing is wrong with my powers and I’m here to restore it.”
Spirit of the cave: “Very well lair. If you still claim that you are the great one I need to test you!”
Phoenix: “Test about what? Didn’t you hear me I just have a small part of my powers?”
Spirit of cave: “Doesn’t matter… You claim that you are the great one, so you need to be tested. Just enter the cave further. I will … guide you.”
Phoenix: “Eummm… Can I trust you?”
Spirit of cave: “Maybe… maybe not… I don’t know… hehehe…”
Phoenix: “Well I see that I haven’t got any choice.”
So Phoenix enters the cave.

While Phoenix is in the mysterious cave the other Guardians are almost back in the realm. It’s about two days travelling from their location.
Mean while the leader of the darth forces is claiming the main planet for his own and he is hungering for more. The main planet has very few energy to use. Unlike the others planet, but this planet was the easiest to conquer and it make a perfect place to launch an attack at the other planets. The leader is also preparing for the next assault for the others planet. From this situation it will only take three days to conquer everything. But still he doesn’t know what happens to the other Guardians.

Inside the cave Phoenix is still walking to his “powers”. Suddenly he comes across an intersection and he doesn’t know which way he needs to follow.
The spirit of the cave: “Well he is your first test. One road leads to further down hill and the other will leads to somewhere and nowhere. It is your choice to make.”
Phoenix: “Eummm… great help are you. It is like both roads are deadly.”
The spirit of the cave: “For the great one knows which one is the best and which one is better.”
Phoenix: “Ahhh… just shut up. Let me think or better concentrate.”
* Phoenix try to sense which path will lead to his powers *
After a while he stops. He still didn’t know which way. So he tries the left path. When he steps one step to the left, suddenly in his conscious a small voice whisper that the right path is better than the left path. Phoenix is a bit confused, but he took the change and went to the right path.
The spirit of the cave: “This is very rare. A person who changed his mind about the direction of the path, while both lead to doom, if you are not the Guardian of fire…”

Most recently, I am in the process of revising the course material, responding both to student input and to my interests in the larger story of visual representation and the opportunities afforded by the database model. For the first two terms, I organized the course on a largely traditional chronological model, with design, fine art, writing, illustration filtered through my attempt to revisit the entire history of visual representation according to a design-dominant paradigm. I have now re-organized the course such that each lecture now encompasses both the historical and the contemporary, presenting a slice of the database pie; a story, in other words, that begins with a database sort of visual images.
