(sry for double posting but this was to be said)
This early design of the Rayman figure looks gross, really happy they changed it. The final figure looks great imo.

I voted Desert of Dijiridoos because it's similar to Band Land.Greengoop wrote: Sun Sep 22, 2024 6:34 am If I have to hear “I voted for desert of dijiridoos because it’s similar to band land” one more time I will ram an unbuttered mango through my monitor![]()
Now get on filming yourself ramming this unbuttered mango through your monitor
Should we bring back Ryemanni's "Erectoons" into this discussion?Hunchman801 wrote: Mon Sep 23, 2024 5:51 pmThere's no indication of them being either male or female, though the lesbian Electoon theory is a fun one to entertain.

Thankfully for all of our eyes and sanity, I can't find it anymore and the Wayback Archive link we had before is dead for some reason.Greengoop wrote: Tue Sep 24, 2024 4:17 pm Um… what are those exactly? I don’t really wanna search it up![]()
But let's say he did a drawing of an "elongated" and "veiny" Electoon... The name was exactly as it suggests.

Re: Rayman: The Board Game
The board game would have to change its age rating to 18-77

Re: Rayman: The Board Game
Speaking of Ryemanni and of Desert of Dijiridoos Band Land, he took a crack at designing a Rayman 1 board: https://bsky.app/profile/ryemanni.bsky. ... o2tdcl422m

So I did predict the Redemption expansion, after all, uh?
The better timeline, where every Rayman game would have got its own dedicated board game

Not so much, it's just he deleted his Twitter because he couldn't stand all of Elon's big stinky poopoo decisions there

Re: Rayman: The Board Game
This makes me realize that it should be fairly easy for people to come up with their own boards and share them for others to play with. Let's see if this actually happens when the game is released!

Re: Rayman: The Board Game
Oh my, that is stunning. Yeah truth be told, I'd love to see what homebrew boards the community could make. Combine that with the possibility of 3D printing, and perhaps we can make our own classic themed Rayman Board Game...with blackjack, and hookers.

Yeah, we were already discussing the figures, so with this custom board we could make this like the redemption of the board game world

Now what's the worst board Rayman fans could possibly come up with?

Rayman Mini wasn't very creative but the environments weren't bad in themselves, were they?

Re: Rayman: The Board Game
I personally liked the environments but I know a lot of people who didn’t.
personally I’d like to see someone make a custom box for the board game, designed in a rayman 1 style, with the iconic yellow logo purple background, and showing R1 images on a green background on the back

Re: Rayman: The Board Game
I'd probably go for the flutes, they feel a bit more distinct than just the scaffolding.
Low hanging fruit would be something based off the RRR games, but if not, my mind's going to something from the GBC titles, though I don't know if I'm being unfair there.Hunchman801 wrote: Wed Sep 25, 2024 5:56 pm Now what's the worst board Rayman fans could possibly come up with?![]()

Re: Rayman: The Board Game
I feel like it's pretty much a no-brainer to go with the first choice this time. The second one just seems so boring in comparison, couldn't they have given two visually interesting choices?

Re: Rayman: The Board Game
I'm definitely voting for the serpent flutes, who cares for random wooden platforms?
Rayman 1 for the GBC is a really good game, now as for Rayman 2 Forever, it's not anywhere as good but its flaws (notably the lack of variety in enemies, to say the least) would probably not be a problem for a simple board.Master wrote: Wed Sep 25, 2024 9:58 pm Low hanging fruit would be something based off the RRR games, but if not, my mind's going to something from the GBC titles, though I don't know if I'm being unfair there.
