Well, I think it is a lot better of an idea to be optimistic, especially considering all the content we are getting as rayman fans lately :D

It’s fine to be optimistic but we need to take some realism into account too. Just take everything with a grain of salt. I’m glad this game is here but I’m not sure what’s going to be next after this (I feel much more confident about fan games).

Remember when Goth Teensie was a main character and supposedly one of Rayman's close friends in Origins?

As far as I'm concerned, the more Teensies the better! We need more Teensie merch!

I’d love it if Elon musk found the board game and decided to donate 1 billion

Haha no problem.

So as we near the end of this campaign, how have folks felt about it? I'm keen to see the final thing but the overt focus on Legends, does bother me a little. I do hope we'll see expansions - official or otherwise, that can call upon other portions of the series cause there's so much more potential there.

But on the whole, I think Flyos has done a good job keeping the community engaged and I hope they'll be able to deliver on their promises.

I can imagine an origins DLC if flyos ever plans on it! They’d call it “nostalgia” if it was anything before that

I mean I'd argue at this point in time Legends and Origins could count for their own nostalgia, folks who grew up on those games...well, I'm talking to one of them right now aren't I? Those games are both over a decade old now.

That moment when you realize how old some of us are, when Legends of all things is a decade old!

I should play more Origins. Really enjoyed playing the first time around (and I’ve still only played it once)

That is a very big understatement!

But yeah, I dunno why they couldn’t give it to us anyway, especially considering how much they’ve already passed their goal by €331k/€36k

Sorry for being pretty annoyingly out of the loop with the whole project here, but we get all those figurines for free once we pledge, yeah?

Yeah, just did! The essentials, I think it was, and I also figured I'd get the Rayman, Globox and Grand Minimus big figures too, if they're exclusive. I remember really wanting to get some Manray figures back when I was a kid, so I'd hope they're worth it

Not much actually, but ah, last year I got that Rayman on a Walking Shell McDonald's figure from eBay for pretty cheap, it felt like an everlasting sidequest, but I finally got it!

That, and the Rayman Origins T-shirt we got in that RPC contest thing from 2011 or so.
