So ummm…..took a quick peek at Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade. Now I might be slightly interested in the series. To the chagrin of my sister.

I just finished Shadow Generations, took me just under 4 hours. This wasn't 100%ed, just pretty much the base game and whatever stuff I could pick up along the way...but it was surprisingly satisfying to play through. The levels also felt a lot more tighter and better planned than the last few boost formula games (I liked Frontiers but the Cyberspace levels were a bit...ehhh at times, and Forces...didn't really feel too engrossing). I'm moving onto the old Sonic Generations now.

Still wonder what this is going to mean for the next fully fledged 3D Sonic, given Frontier's seemed to imply they were considering moving away from the boost formula, only for them to come up with what I think is some of the best of the boost formula...

Played Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade last week. Not done with it yet, but switched to Shadow Dragon for the time being. I have to admit, this is fun. :)

My favorite GBA game is Wario Land 4, it also has some of the most memorable OST I've ever heard and I still listen to it from time to time.

I’m playing through Ace Attorney : Spirit of Justice! Specifically the 5th case, and there’s so much happening..
Anyways, i’m really enjoying it a lot, all the cases are solid, and its definitely better than Dual Destinies (which tbh i also enjoyed a lot, but there’s also a lot of problems with it)
However, it’s the last game in the franchise (i know like TGAA exists but i'm talking about the modern timeline games) and that makes me sad. Like, what do you mean i don’t get to see my silly guys anymore?! (opens up AO3)

I love the OST. My favorite passage from that game would be the emerald passage. Has such great tunes! I also like Pinball Zone (ruby), Crescent Moon Village (sapphire), Hotel Horror (sapphire), and Toy Block Tower (topaz) too! :D

My favorite tunes have to be Monsoon Jungle and Mystic Lake though (both emerald), though I really wish they had kept the golden passage music in-game instead of immediately jumping on the frog switch upon entry… (I mean it’s there, but just unused bc of that)

Great picks :))
Crescent moon village, hotel horror and toy block tower are my favorites! Monsoon jungle and mystic lake are perfect for studying or just chilling. I feel the same way about golden passage and it shows that they originally had a completely different idea in mind, though I like the end result in terms of gameplay.

I really enjoyed pizza tower by the way, it's kind of like a sequel to wario land 4 in spirit.

I’ve heard people refer to pizza tower as Wario Land 4 on crack. Is this accurate?

A few days ago I completed Bloodborne for the very first time. I wouldn't have imagined this a year ago, but Bloodborne is definitely one of the best games I've ever played in my life. Its level design, its aesthetic, its gameplay... Bloodborne is definitely a must play if you haven't done it before. In regards of the difficulty, I wouldn't say it's really that hard, I could beat most of the bosses in my first try or only in a few tries. Of course, it's a challenging game, but I wouldn't say it's hard/impossible.

I'm pretty sure the translation process never started. The author would have had to secure a contract with a publisher for an English version of the book first, and obviously that did not happen. Not sure why, though!

I just got a sunflower wind-up toy. :)

That's an awesome toy! Reminds me of the solar-powered yokozuna figure I brought as a souvenir to my parents from Japan, years ago. :D
