Re: The Awesome and Cool Rayman Poll Thread
So here are your thoughts about a potential crossover.
Even though there's an specific topic for this, I think it's interesting to ask about this since there are new members around. So, the question is... When did you find Rayman Pirate-Community?

I found it in 2021, I was thinking about registering here in 2022, and I finally got round to it in 2023

While I joined in 2011, I've known about RPC for much longer, RayTunes I think was probably how I discovered the place, not that I knew how to use it at the time since it used to use a GameMaker application xD.

Bumping for those who missed it
Since it's been buried a few weeks ago... Any ideas for the next poll? I'll let this one open until we come up with a new idea. Feel free to share yours, as always.

How about “which PS3 model do you prefer?” (Options: Backwards compatible phat, non-bc phat, slim, super slim, I hate them all)

In 2003, just after creating it?DaveRattlehead wrote: Thu Jan 23, 2025 3:36 pm Even though there's an specific topic for this, I think it's interesting to ask about this since there are new members around. So, the question is... When did you find Rayman Pirate-Community?
I've only ever had one so I don't really know about the others, unfortunately.Greengoop wrote: Thu Feb 20, 2025 7:52 am How about “which PS3 model do you prefer?” (Options: Backwards compatible phat, non-bc phat, slim, super slim, I hate them all)

Re: The Awesome and Cool Rayman Poll Thread
Mmmm maybe that question doesn't fit this topic!
But hey, since you mentioned the PS3 console, this question came to my mind... In the PS3/Xbox 360 era, online games were becoming more and more popular than before, and it's what lead us to our present time. In regards of a potential new Rayman game, would you like to see an online mode there or not?
I know Rayman Legends has an online mode, but in this case I mean a classic online mode were you play with/against people in real time, not challenges where you see ghost characters with no interaction.

Re: The Awesome and Cool Rayman Poll Thread
The kind of Rayman game I'm hoping for is an immersive and mysterious 3D platformer that certainly wouldn't work well for a multiplayer mode. Maybe some multiplayer online minigames could be a nice addition, but the gameplay would have to be very different from that of the main game, unlike Rayman Legends.
In fact, the only games I like playing alone are not games whose gameplay also works online. Resident Evil 5 tried to do both things at the same time and as a result, both modes ended up worse than they could have been as separate things.

Re: The Awesome and Cool Rayman Poll Thread
I don't think that a new Rayman game should be designed around multiplayer, but something like the challenges from RL, and maybe a online version of the Time Attack mode from RO, would be interesting.

Re: The Awesome and Cool Rayman Poll Thread
Here you have the results of the previous poll
I didn't post my opinion about it, but I prefer no online mode in a hypothetical new Rayman game. I don't believe all of the modern games should have an online mode, and there are many great examples of games its online mode is way worse than the story mode.
Now, for the next one... Which version of Rayman do you think is the strongest one?
