Editing sprites/textures are always a pain in the ass. I made my username before I actually tried doing texture mods and now I slightly regret it

And, you're welcome!
Well, clearly you picked the name because you aspired to become a modder!
I sometimes regret my username, since it's a bit iffy for some games' censors and isn't the friendliest username out there, but I can't see it being anything else but ChronicTraitor. Chronic or CT would also work fine, though I've never actually used CT much of anywhere.
I'm hoping the tablet I got myself for Christmas can help me out in the digital art department. I just really don't like drawing with my mouse, everything winds up really shaky line-wise. I have an old ipad but it can only do so much. I could do a lot more with a new tablet!

Oh, so I was somewhat right

, if you count the default one as a skin
Also, similarities again!! So many

, leads me to believe Tily's skins are all just one big reference
I do consider the default its' own skin, since that was the one I modded over. I think it's the only one I
could mod over, for some reason I have yet to get the rest of Tily's skins on the PC version of Arena...Do they even exist there?

I haven't gotten around to wiping the game out, but still...
I could almost swear it was intentional, once I connected the dots I couldn't disconnect them. Maybe in some kind of third alternate dimension where Evil Twin didn't fall into obscurity like it did, perhaps Cyprien and his alters could've taken Tily's place as some sort of guest character. I could very much imagine it, since the Glade and similar are always getting invaders/visitors from somewhere else it seems, and I could definitely see the two dream worlds coexisting with each other. If I had the knowhow and modeling ability, I'd love to replace Tily with Cyprien entirely...Though that's more of me daydreaming than anything.

"And he very much wants to send Cyprien to a fiery demise." Someone, roll the clip of when Foutch hits Rayman into the arena thing!

Also, I like the idea of the angel and devil thing. Sounds really cool
Also, you could possibly try to make an inspired skin of EvilCyp for Cyprien, but that also seems pretty complex
Yeah, that really wouldn't be that far off, though for all his hatred EvilCyp is a bit strange for a boss fight; I mentioned that he can't really be hit directly--He never directly hits Cyprien either. He's actually minus a lot of Cyprien's abilities, most notably the somewhat useless tumble. He seems to have abilities of his own instead. Sort of makes me wish the three of them were all playable...It's definitely something I've thought about throwing together in a game making tool. It could be very interesting to play around with the idea, though I've no experience in game design or anything.
Some of Evil Twin's few magazine ads do mention Angels and Devils, so it's not too far off of an assumption! Though SuperCyp was considered the demonic one, I think they fit the whole angel idea much better. They always disappear near NPC's and are meant to deal with the more difficult things Cyprien himself can't. EvilCyp is very clearly the demon between the three, though his actions prior are all you 'see' of him until he actually reveals himself, as demons do.
Making a skin for him wouldn't be too difficult aside from...a lot of minor things preventing me from really doing so. I'd switch EvilCyp and Cyprien's textures around if I did manage it, though that'd make things even more cursed than they already are.

Mr. Dark doesn't particularly seem very tiny, unless you point towards that unused version of him in Origins. Though, that connection about his name is very very nice! I do think that's what they were going for, too. A darkness in a world full of joy and fun, the darkness slowly corrupting it.
I thought it was pretty poetic myself. Like a storm in front of the sun, casting a wide shadow that stretches across everything. Mr. Dark is a bit of an outcast in the Valley, isn't he?

I do recall the whole Origins thing but even then I'm not sure if it was a reimagining or something else. Origins is weird like that. The GBC game is quite small design wise, so it still makes some sense in the 'small and annoying boss' way of things.

Smart! I've never personally speedran a game before but I think it would help if I started trying to do that.... somehow
Honestly it was fun to see what I could get away with actually doing in terms of corner-cutting, as the game's quite rough around the edges design-wise; there's definitely some great shortcuts here and there if the player's capable/crazy enough. Or has enough time left in that meter for SuperCyp to tear through the parts of the level Cyprien can carry them into.

I'm pretty broke so thank god there's an emulator for it! I'm not a very big emulator fan but seeing as though I have literally no other way to get it, it's definitely helpful! Thank you, Chronic!
There's no way in hell I'd ever get my hands on an actual copy. For one I don't have a European Dreamcast or a modded Dreamcast. It's also been made inaccessible due to retro rarity jacking up the price...Funnily enough the game is not really worth that much if we're talking difficulty and game length. So, so many 1ups, and the number of levels doesn't even break double digits. It's the art style that makes it rare.
I highly recommend Flycast if we're talking the Dreamcast version. It's the one I used, since the other DC emulators were a bit of a mess.
I really can't recommend the PS2 version since it's just the PC one with worse textures and lighting. I used PCSX2 for that one.
The PC version is alright, it's better than the PS2 one. Though I was forced to play in full screen and some music was weirdly absent. I don't remember how I got that one working, but it was probably a nightmare to get working correctly!
For ease of use I'd still go with Dreamcast. It's missing two optional (janky as heck) brutally hard side areas that the other two versions have, but trust me, neither side area is really worth doing. Maybe once just to try them, but I can understand why they were cut. For the data limit, yeah, but they feel a bit out of place difficultly wise next to the rest of the game. A lot of extra enemies are missing too, but again, they're more of an annoyance than anything. Felt like difficulty for the sake of difficulty, you know?

You should do a playthrough! I always watch one or two of those before seeing if a game is good or not... Though I spoil a little for myself, I always gotta make sure
And I think all games should have something like RayMap. It's fun to see what's going on in a game!
Really?!

Oh gosh, I've never actually posted a playthrough of anything before. I'd be giving every secret I'd discovered away, but I can still remember how early I was stuck at some specific parts; and I know so many useful things that could really help someone past the more difficult sections and the few bosses. The other part of me is trying to figure out how I'd post it without breaking the data limit here...
I tend to watch the first 10-20 minutes, or the first couple of levels to get an idea of how the game plays and what atmosphere it has. Though I sometimes use playthroughs to see version comparisons, or how to get unstuck somewhere if I'm just really missing something.
I'd love a RayMap type of utility for other games, definitely. It's probably a great way to find unused content! I love prototypical hidden stuff.
