TTQ - Season 146 - RayGamer99

For the regular question, if memory serves correctly, El Stomacho, Mecha Carnivora, and the Boss Bird (or Tchip-Tchip, if you want to call him that) appear as icons on the Fiesta Run world map.

Well, darn me, you are right! I was thinking about the main map so forgout about Tchip-tchip. :oops2:

Question 17: Suppose that you were playing Rayman 2 (PC/N64/DC) and were meticulously getting every lum and every cage as soon as you could. After which level would you have >50% of the lums and after which level would you have >50% of the cages?

I think the bonus question can stand a little longer until a more complete answer is given. ;)
Bonus Question 1: List all things that may be contained inside a cage in Rayman 2 (PC/N64/DC versions only!)

I think you could do both after clearing the Sanctuary of Stone and Fire.
not feeling as confident about the cages but i tried!

For the bonus, I'll go with Yellow lums, Super Yellow lums, Purple lums, Red lums, the Teensies that return Rayman to the Hall of Doors, and Sssam.

Correct on all counts! It is often overlooked that Red Lums can also be found in some cages (I believe in the Echoing Caves).
And now you see another reason why The Sanctuary of Stone and Fire is such a pivotal level. Huge, convoluted, challenging, fun, epic, it also marks the middle point of the game - once you beat it - you know for sure you can handle the rest of the game.

Looks like Jonster is pulling ahead!

Question 16 (we accidentally skipped it): Since The Sanctuary of Stone and Fire was just brought up: the last Yellow Lum in this level is notoriously easy to miss during the first playthrough, but not so much during subsequent ones. Why?

Because when you get near it it's really easy to trigger the mask cutscene and lose control, whereas on a revisit there's no cutscene, just a spiral door up where the monument used to be so you can walk around freely.

Precisely! Very aggravatingly so!

Question 18: Rayman 1 only has blue spiky balls. Green ones can be found in Rayman Designer and red (insta-kill) in Rayman Junior. Where can you find orange ones?

The Game Boy Color version of Rayman 1?
Yes! And of Rayman 2 as well, :D

Question 19: The final boss in Rayman: Hoodlums' Revenge is Reflux, but not really. Could you explain?

It's Globox, but there's like still a part of Andre in him, so it causess him to become Reflux, or something like that.

Supposedly, it’s Reflux. But in reality it’s Globox transformed into Reflux through drinking plum juice (which Andre’s spirit made him do I suppose).

Which is why the music playing in the boss fight is a lot more positive than most other boss music in any other game, cuz it’s more Rayman trying to get Globox back to his senses than actually fighting a real villain (at least I think so anyways).

Even though Jonster's answer is more complete, lyndo64's earlier post gave enough of the details I was looking for, so I'll grant him the point.

Question 20: One of the boss battles in Rayman 3 GBA replaces a different one, which was scrapped together with the original game concept as Rayman 2 GBA. Which boss was in the original plans and which one eventually replaced it?

Was Rocky the replacement, and Foutch the originally planned one? That’d be my best guess, considering the location in which Rocky is fought and his overall design.
