To clarify… This YouTuber (for example) didn't exist at all in your mind before you had the dream, right? But then when you had that dream you suddenly felt like you'd known them since childhood? I don't think that's particularly abnormal, I also sometimes have dreams that involve familiarity with events, places and people that never happened / existed. I wouldn't worry about it…
 
Extremely normal yeah, this is the case all the time in my dreams.

The weirdest example for me was actually during a sleep paralysis episode, where I was able to control my sleepwalking (with incredible effort), but everything was one raw hallucination. As I walked through my room it took on the form of a destroyed attic, and the construction workers talking outside my door manifested as people in my room. Instinctually it felt like I'd known these people trying to talk to me my whole life, "yeah, those guys!", but I couldn't place a name to them, and I didn't know anything about them. Things that exclusively come in complete mental packages when we're conscious were only coming to me incomplete (these things are completely ignored when dreaming), and not in the way we'd normally think. It's one of the weirdest experiences I've ever had.

Hes apparend in my dreams since childhood for whatever reason?
 
Hm, that's never happened to me… any recurring people in my dreams are only real people, all the ones my head comes up with are one-offs.
 
Last night I had a dream where somehow, like the last episode of Scooby-Doo Mystery Inc, I got transported to a better alternate universe where my little cat didn't die in 2023, and she was still alive. I remember having a conversation with my mother in the dream where I said something like "yes, she did die, but that was in the 'it was all for nothing' universe". I'm not sure what happened to any of the other stuff I had done / made since 2023, but I didn't care as long as I had my cat.

Then I woke up and I was like, "shoot, I really am still in the 'all for nothing' universe :facepalm:". Whatever, that ain't gonna ruin Christmas! :hap:

Later on I went out for a walk with my dad, and we actually did see a black cat, who started mewing at me :mefiant:
 
I dreamed that I was in some kind of campsite, it was night and a girl invited me to her house, we went through her garage, she dropped a notepad on the ground and I helped her pick it up, she decided to write her address in it for me, but instead of writing on one of the sheets she wrote on the back of the notepad, which upset me a little, I think it said it was in Greece, I woke up right after
 
I just had the craziest dream

I clicked to go to RPC and I was logged out for some reason so I logged in and they had to check if I was real or not, so I had to answer hard quiz questions and then I think on the 6th one I had to play this insanely weird game that turned into an rpg and you had to kill all of these guys... and then I just didn't do it

In the same dream me and everyone on earth died because this pineapple monster thing turned into a blackhole and then sucked up our galaxy in return killing us all :fou:

I wish I was joking, but genuinely best sleep of my life
 
I just had a dream where I lived in rural America, and there was that light filter on (that’s used whenever there’s a flashback in a movie). I went to this one gas station that had a lot of Ferrero Rochers in it, for some reason. Also, the RPC still existed and it was dr_st’s birthday :lol:
 
Had some fever dreams on Saturday night, including one in which I was attempting an experiment to check the efficacy of the shielding on our microwave, but forgot to put anything inside and ended up breaking it to a state where I couldn't even be sure whether or not the mag was operational, or if the interlock was effective :mefiant:
 
I had a dream where It took place in a hospital and mordecai and rigby from regular show were in. A black hole spawned out of nowhere and ate everything except mordecai and rigby. I have a lot of dream with black holes.
 
I just had a crazy dream where I was banned from RPC for simply "spying"... No explanation, it looked like a minecraft ban screen where it just said "You're banned! Reason: Spying"

In the dream I was freaking out and super confused because I knew I didn't do anything :confus: I also don't remember anything else from that dream other than me getting banned :boon:

< Had a huge adrenaline boost, almost passed out but is completely fine.
< Thinks adrenaline is crazy, I can still feel the shock after some hours.

Yeah I'm alright, I'm just kind of woozy after the whole ordeal. I had a pretty ugly fall.

So in order to make up for it I'll share a dream I had on a roadtrip while I was 18, I drank a lot of coffee and I was in the passenger's seat and I fell asleep. I dreamed everything was dark and I could see myself approaching me and telling me "dude, you really need to stop drinking coffee". :lol: To this day I'm careful with coffee.
 
Had a very strange series of dreams (probably caused by having a fever) about serving in a war, i woke up a lot and it seemed to continue whenever I went back to sleep. I could also swear music was playing when I woke up
 
I've just woken up from the least healing night I've ever had*

The dream in it was really weird : I needed to go to a job interview for which I was recommended by my friend G (airplane pilot). So naturally I go it, using a tram network from a city 500km away. When I arrive at the company, they make me wait, during that time, I cross the path in the lobby of my friend A (technician in biomedicine), my friend F (secretary for an NGO), my friend P (nurse) and my friend B (salesman in automobile), who all live in a city 500km but not that one.

Of course, by the time the interview begins I have no idea what this company does, which of course is the first question, so I look like a fool.

*Excluding nights when I've been drunk, sick, eaten way too much or willingly went to bed after 4AM
