Lately, I’ve been hopping between a few games, trying to settle on something that really sticks. Minecraft phases come and go, but sometimes you just need a quick pick-up-and-play experience - like Eggy Car, which somehow always finds its way back into my rotation. Also been thinking about revisiting some classics, but the backlog is already out of control. Anyone else struggle with deciding what to play next?
Yesterday I was playing sonic 4, and I have mixed opinions on it. I think the clunky physics and how sonic sometimes can’t even do simple jumps is quite an issue, but I love the fast pace with all the springs and bouncing off enemies. The music is average, it isn’t “spewing garbage” like everyone online says it is, but it isn’t quite Bohemian Rhapsody. 7/10, I feel like I’m turning into an IGN reviewer on this one
Ahh Sonic 4, what a mess that was. If memory serves it was originally meant to be a mobile game only, but they ended up putting it on console.
I think it being called "Sonic 4" really worked against it, moreso especially because people were really wanting a more classic styled "back to basics" sort of approach to Sonic at the time after the string of disappointments in the 00s. The game itself, I'd class as mid but definitely nowhere near as well designed as the original games it was claiming to build upon. Episode 2 was a bit of an improvement, but I think in general it could've been a lot better, and I think with Sonic Mania and Sonic Superstars, Sonic 4's kinda just fallen into obscurity and probably ain't even canon anymore.
As for myself, when I'm not being beaten up by the horrors - I finished Mario and Luigi Brothership. I think it stands as a good successor to the Mario and Luigi titles, and I do hope they'll continue to make more in the future (although the critical response kinda makes me worry the series is going to be put back to sleep for another 5 years ). The game follows the basic principles pretty much bang on, I didn't like some of the tweaks - such as making Luigi no longer map to the B button during menu selection during battles, but they could be glossed over on the whole. Think the bros attacks were ok, but I don't think they felt quite as spectacular as some of the ones from previous games, I wonder if the change in perspective and loss of second screen meant they had to size things down...
Also the music in Brothership is well done, but the change in musical identity is a bit strange. I suppose I'm very used to the identity of Yoko Shimomura, her work on the series really made it unique amongst the Mario spinoffs. The new soundtrack is good, but feels more...traditional Mario. Have a listen to the boss themes from past and present and see what you make of it:
I just finished a stream of Megaman 11 for a future video.
The game is basically alright but by god do I fucking hate it. It has the least soul of any game in the franchise, and that includes X Dive and Battle Chip Challenge. A masterclass in not giving a shit by Capcom. It's also the best selling game in the entire franchise.
I took play Flyff Universe everyday because I started back in May 2024. The reason I had chose Rhisis Server (which, it was by PlayPark publisher).
I also saw some people speaking tagalog but i can't understand either, the fact I had speak English and because my country was from Indonesia. that's why.
Later back in September/October 2024, I've just tried FWC Server Event, and then xDwight told me said try Lawolf Server (SEA Server)
Lately reliving a bit of nostalgia and pulled up the Cake Mania series. Finished Cake Mania last week and Back to the Bakery this week (after hours of agony near the end) and started Cake Mania 2 yesterday.
Right now, I'm really into *Hades*—such a great rogue-like with incredible storytelling and gameplay. I'm also playing *Valorant* with friends; it’s always exciting with its tactical shooter mechanics. Additionally, I’ve been revisiting *The Witcher 3* since the DLCs were released. The world is so immersive, and I just can’t get enough of the story and side quests. What about you?
As part of my series of "what games of my childhood were actually good because I'm 30 and there are a lot of stuff I definitely remember wrong", I've been playing Metal Gear Solid (PS1) on stream. I was anxious to see how the story would turn out now that we know that Kojima doesn't write stories as much he exudes gastro-enteritus through a pen, but MGS's story remains coherent all throughout, even though some of the plot twist are a bit dumb by design.
The gameplay though, is what I remember the most fondly (in fact I had really big trouble adjusting to MGS2 when it came out) but oh boy it suffers from "Early 3D game" syndrome. The walkthrough became a slog by moments because you can't see what's coming at all. And on some of the heavier moments I felt obliged to kill soldiers 3m in front of me with the sniper because I could at least see them.
Next week I'll try MGS : Twin Snakes on Gamecube to see how the gameplay differs. And now I'll be going back on stream to capture some footage for a Megaman 11 review.

I recently explored https://findmygamble.com/ and found it to be a valuable resource for online gaming enthusiasts. The site offers comprehensive reviews of various gambling platforms, highlighting key features, bonuses, and user experiences. This information aids in making informed decisions about where to play.
I love that game! I'll definitely buy Hades 2 once it's on a discount.
I took decided pre-register FWC 2025 event and server opens in April 24 in Flyff Universe. However last year (back in October 2024), I did got FWC title named 2024 FWC Beginner. I was unable to get some titles that I need reach level including 2024 FWC Combatant and 2024 FWC Vanquisher.
So in April 24, 2025, I'll see I will get FWC 2025 title before the FWC Server transfers soon in Late 2025.
Eventually, I was busy so I can't play Flyff Universe since then I had focus in Rhisis Server (PlayPark) and then some SEA Servers including Mia, Lawolf and Glaphan. But hopefully just only visiting and check though.
However some people last time asking me (my RM, Slimeshiro) says that I am GM. But I am not GM though since the title I got from FWC 2024.
Later on, I had play some PSX Games including Caesar Palace 2000 MGE. some other games I do play CTR and even Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped Prototype (August 1998) though.
